Just Started Mydayis
(Newest replies first)

Updated

Haven't used Amphetamines since I was in grade school. Rosaline. Do recently my Dr wanted me to try Mydayis. Today was the first day 25.5 mg then in 2 weeks 37.5. I can't say I felt much, maybe a little more focused but not black hole focused and could still laugh and be myself. There aren't many reviews as it's new so I guess I'm just looking for feedback or suggestions. Kind Regards

Re: Verwon (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

Hello! I'm a 47 year old female who started 37.5 dose of Mydayis one week ago. I did experience reduced appetite, but not at a level of concern and I did not have nausea. I actually prefer some some help with appetite control. Mood-wise, I felt quite good actually- maybe because I much appreciated the ability to focus. But unfortunately I've had to stop taking Mydayis after 6 days due to inability to get quality sleep. The first day was excellent- no jitters and a very smooth feeling of focus- I got much accomplished and the focus helped dissipate my general anxiety. I stayed up too late that night, continuing to get things done, but didn't think much of it. The second day, I resolved to catch up on sleep and went to bed at a decent hour, but was wide awake for hours longer. This continued for 5 days- lack of ability to get to sleep, also waking too early. I take magnesium at night and during these nights of unwanted wakefulness I tried several online meditation videos for insomnia, etc... I still couldn't sleep before 2:00am and would wake about 6:00- 6:15- an average of 4-5 hours per night! So on the 5th day I only took half the amount of Mydayis and cut out my usual 2:00pm cup of coffee. I still couldn't sleep that night. On the 6th day I did not take Mydayis at all (and also only had morning coffee)- this was last night- I slept like a baby for 8 and a half hours. I was so happy with the focus those first few days on Mydayis, and am quite disappointed about the sleep problems. After a couple days off, I will try again with only taking half the med and watching caffeine- I may also try taking even earlier than at 7:00am... I read that some people believe it takes a few hours to kick in, then there's the time release mechanism that keeps you going for so long throughout the day- so they set the alarm to wake at 4:00 or 5:00 am to take it, then get a few more hours of sleep before it starts working.
