Is Tramodol Gluten Free

Is tramodol gluten free. I suffer from bulging disc and recently diagnosed with celiac I just don't know what I can take when need relief

To my knowledge, most medications don't contain gluten; but to know for sure you would most-likely have to contact the manufacturer of this specific pill or do some self-research for a list of the inactive ingredients in each tablet.

If the manufacturer isn't listed on your Tramadol prescription, then I can just as easily look up the imprints and markings on your pill to try and determine what these inactive ingredients may be or who the manufacturer is. So if you could post back with any additional details, that would be great.

It's tramodol hcl 50 mg tab mylan on the tablet it says M on one side and T7 on the other. I appreciate your help a bunch.

The 50mg Tramadol tablet marked "M T7", contains the following inactive ingredients:

silicon dioxide colloidal
croscarmellose sodium
glyceryl triacetate
hypromellose
magnesium stearate
mannitol
microcrystalline cellulose
polydextrose
polyethylene glycol
sodium lauryl sulfate
titanium dioxide

Based on this, it doesn't look like gluten is listed as an ingredient in these specific Tramadol pills, so you should be fine in that regard.

For verification, this pill is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. and its National Drug Code (NDC) is: 00378-4151

"Most" medications are not gluten free unless you are simply saying, "less than 50%." There are a lot of medications with gluten.
