I am 20 years old turning 21, Im using lady pills since i was 19, is it safe? My friend told me that teenagers who are not yet getting pregnant and are taking birth control pills have a tendency that they will not get pregnant at all even if they stop taking the pill.. is that true?

Im taking lady pills because i have a long term and serious relationship with my boyfriend and we both have plans to finish college, we want to have a family if we are both stable in our future jobs..

I just want to know if it is safe taking the pills even if im not a mother yet, and if I will stop taking the pill will i get pregnant? I want to have a family of my own but now is not the right time for that that is why im taking the pills pls reply :)

Hello, commenting to you NOT wanting to get pregnant, yet you want to stop taking the pill. I understand you both like to get your lives together before bringing a child into the world, which is very responsible of you both, more teens should think as you do! But my opinion, I think you will almost definitely get pregnant, if NOT using any type of protection. I think it's highly likely and you should reconsider and continue the pill, or look into some other type of protection, these days it's not only the lady that can use protection, but a man also has the option to use protection of his liking. There are so many different types of birth control these days, do a little research online together and decide what is best for you two. Just Google it. You can Google anything! Good luck to you both, I wish you both many years of happiness & babies when you're ready lol. God bless

Hello! Sana mag reply ka. I'm 20 too. I'm planning on taking althea pills. But hindi pa ako nagpapa consult sa ob. I'm planning to take it on my own. Nagpa consult ka ba? Or you started it your own? And to your question, NO!!!! :) Taking birth control pills now won't make you infertile forever haha. When you stop taking it, you'll get pregnant (obviously). Don't worry about it :)

I have something to ask you guys. I'm 20 y/o. Running on 21. My question is, is it ok if I'm not taking lady pills when we're having intercourse? My bf and I had intercourse last tuesday, and I haven't been taking contraceptive pills. Is there a possibility that I got pregnant? Even if he withdrew?
