Xorimax contains the active ingredient Cefuroxime, which is an antibiotic that's used to treat infections.

Asthma, however, is caused by allergies and an antibiotic is not effective at treating it.

And drinking alcohol while taking it may increase the severity of the side effects, such as nausea, dizziness and drowsiness.
