Is It O.k. To Take Quinipril And Avalide Together?

I was told there could be a problem taking Quinipril and Avalide at the same time on a consistent basis because they are basically in the same class. Any truth to this?

Yes, usually, you should take one or the other, though you may be able to take other blood pressure and cardiac medications, at the same time, according to FDA reports.

Barb, it really depends on your blood pressure levels, since the FDA warns that Magnesium may also lower it, and cause drowsiness.
