Since no one really lists this type of information on their webpage, I suppose the only way to know for certain would be to call around and ask.

Are you specifically looking for "pain management" doctors/clinics? If so, you can give the following links a try
for locating PM doctors and specialists within your general area:

I hope this info helps!

i'm interested in finding ones in NC as well. even if a referral is required though, any good ones even ones who use a narcotics contract that is fine with me. i have chronic lower back pain which i have had since my c-section last year when my daughter was born, and recently i have been having arthritis-like pain in my fingers, toes, ankles, hips and i am pretty certain i have heel spurs as well. it hurts like hell when i first stand up in the morning... i can barely walk for at least 10 minutes upon rising.

Hi Mark:

I noticed you are in the Charlotte area. I am about 40 miles away from Charlotte ,North Carolina. Are you still in the Charlotte area and did you ever find a good pain doctor? I noticed your post is rather old but I am hoping to get information from somebody that may be familiar with a good pain doctor 40 miles away from Charlotte North Carolina either closer or further away. I am desperate to find someone who is near this area or further if not too far who actually knows how to treat pain patients with compassion. Most doctors these days do not have a clue on how to treat pain patients because they are heartless. They need to ship the pain medication back to where it came from if they are going to keep it from innocent people who need it the most for their pain. Please post if anyone is familiar with a great doctor in this area or the Triad area because I need the help ASAP. Thank you and have a great day!

I need help with a pain clinic in n.c that doesn't need a referral. I have Medicaid and I'm on disability. I have MRIs. I just moved back to n.c and dont have a primary care Dr yet. Please help me with this. I've been on pain meds 25 for years due to a car wreck. {edited for privacy}. Please write me if I can get me an appt. asap. Thanks. Or let the MD know if they have some drs that can help me with primary care so I can get a referall if needed.
