Is Provera Making My Estrogen Go High In The Luteal Phase

I started taking Provera to time the start of an IVF cycle but my estrogen has gone really high. Like about 5000. It has happened 2 times now in a row. The estrogen has still come down to baseline after m period. Could Provera do this? I've read it lowers natural progesterone and was thinking perhaps this could create an unopposed estrogen dominant situation?
My concern is it could otherwise be something bad like ovarian cancer. Would you estrogen come back down to baseline under 70 if it was this causing it?
