Kratom did nothing for my pain & it made me vomit. I'll stay with my opiates..

This may work for some without a reasonable tolerance but someone wit a tolerance it is unlikely to work and a placebo effect may be a factor. Sorry to burst your bubble but I see no harm in giving it a try.

I have tried Kratom and it did nothing for my pain. I am on a very high dose of medication so that may be the reason that it didn't work for me. Go onto one of the sites that sell Kratom and get the sample amount of them, they may work for you. Good luck :)

I'm a big fan of Kratom, chemically Kratom works through similar receptors. Hundreds of thousands of people rely on Kratom for pain relief and addicts get off hardcore opiates due to Kratom. It's been well documented and most certainly not a placebo effect when it takes away withdrawal symptoms of someone getting off Heroin, legal opiates.... you can't fake that. Does it work for everyone? No, but neither do prescribed opiates.

Now many PM doctors run a DNA test on you to determine which pain relief will benefit you the most. For some people Fentanyl will not help them where a mid-size dose of Vicodin will, so it will be the same with Kratom. What it does for me personally is amazing. No, you don't get that high feeling that so many people like and come to expect which I'm grateful for.

As for me Red Strain Kratom is taken with my prescribed opiate/muscle relaxer/Nerve pain meds but instead of needing to medicate every 4-6 hours I can now go 10-12 hours between doses so Kratom has greatly enhanced my PRN pain medication regime with ZERO side effects. Now I have no constipation concerns because I don't take but 1/2 the prescribed PRN pain meds now. I'm more motivated to get up and get moving and sleep less when taking Kratom. Kratom doesn't make me feel drugged or really any certain way other than it helps to totally enhance my other medications to last longer & work better with ZERO side effects other than the good side effects as noted.

I've been able to stay on the same pain medication dosages since April 2010 for myself plus tens to hundreds of thousands of Kratom users take this all natural plant which has been proven very effective. The placebo effect can be very real but that's definitely not what is going on with Kratom, it's been well studied on how and why it works on the majority of people who take the right Dosage. That's what is key with Kratom, no headshops please, buy from a reputable Herbalist with guaranteed real sources, not bunk Alfafa powder that the crooks sell since the smell is similar.

Get the right strain, take the right dose with the right citrus drink to breakdown Kratom in your gut better, its much more effective this way, I also take an excellent digestive enzyme with my twice a day Kratom doses. I buy in bulk and capsule my Kratom powder as well. Then every week switch it up for a different red strain for pain, green strains work for pain and anxiety issues but it makes me way too sleepy so I take it at night with Melatonin for a nice peacful, non druggy feeling sleep.

White and yellow strain isn't good for pain but it's an excellent energy booster without the heart palpitations you get from other over the counter "boosters". Just remember not all opiates work on each person so not all people taking all "natural Kratom" will work for everyone either but don't knock it, it has a legitimate place in pain management and drug addiction programs.

Re: jac (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

I took it and it worked great for me. I got tired of taking pills and them letting me down. But I guess you got to wait. Pills will kill you if you stay on them. I took Oxy's for 10 years. I am so happy and think God I'm off that hell. I could not believe how much pills had changed me and my personality.

I agree I think God also it's sad how we don't see the hell thank God I have a wonderful husband that stood with me thru the hell .They had changed my personality and I did not even see it and even worse the pain we couse others others we live all behind pills . And we even get mad when it's pointed out to us that's addiction. I see so many others in here that state it don't work it won't help to try .What it really comes down to is are you welling to give up your high .Pills are worse then eligal drugs I believe I very been on both .That God my hell is over now I can start living.I still have the pain but I'm alive . I started using an ointment Lidocaine 5% it works a little high but worth it it socks down to the Bone a numbs the pain works for hours .I have Degenerative disk deseas , Spinal Stonsis, 2 Pertruding disk so I know what chronic pain is pain that never goes away but I believe theirs a fine line between pain and addiction .Ask you self and be honest where are you .

Kratom is legal in all of florida except for sarasota County... where I live. I didn’t know about that until after ordering. But the company sent my order within two days I’ve never tried but have chronic debilitating pain and an opioid tolerance and it’s not gonna get any better with my 7th surgery in a year coming up
