My father is taking Tonact (20mg) And Clopilet A 75 to reduce the level of cholestrol and to prevent from stroke.I heard that Ecosprin AV is a substitute of Tonact and Clopilet A 75.Is it true?

Ecosprin AV contains the active ingredients Aspirin and Atorvastatin.

While Clopilet-A contains Clopidogrel and Aspirin to prevent blood clotting.

Learn more Aspirin details here.

And Tonact contains Atorvastatin to lower cholesterol.

So, switching to the Ecosprin AV would not be an equivalent, because it doesn't contain the Clopidogrel.

Who told you that it was the same?

My mother gone through an angioplasty in March 2015 and after that she continued using Clopitab A150 till now and she was healthy but now a dr. Is suggesting us to stop clopitabA150 and start using ecosprinAV (150/20) the dr. Said if we didn't stop using clopitab A150 the blood 'll be very thin and it could effect on her brain the and dr. Who done the operation is said that you should continue lifetime that's why we all r confused can anyone who is enough experienced could suggest us what to do....
