How long should I wait in-between pills? ## Bentyl contains the active ingredient Dicyclomine, it is used to help with GI spasms and cramping, for conditions such as IBS. However, it is not a narcotic and will not treat pain as a narcotic does. That means that the Norco, which contains Acetaminophen and the narcotic Hydrocodone, can be used whenever you need to use it, for the pain, as long as you don't take more of it or take it more frequently than the doctor directed. Any time that you are taking prescription medication it is a good idea to contact your doctor prior to taking anything else, even if it is over the counter medication for something that may seem rather urgent. I have been on Bentyl for about 6 weeks and the constipation is so bad that I have had to take laxatives. I'm seriously thinking of not taking it anymore. ## Hello, Kathy! How are you doing? Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find an identification for this, yet. They seem to be old tablets that are no longer manufactured, as from other posts I've found they were said to be found in the homes of elderly deceased relatives. Thus finding an ID may be a bit difficult. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. I have been a pharmacist for 45 years and remember when this medication retailed for twenty dollars for 100 tablets, now one thousand dollars. Something is really wrong here. There's no reason for such an over price for this medicine. Seems like collusion between the FDA and big pharma to ripoff the patient. Don't trust either one. I have Fibro with chronic IBS-C...my doctor gave me rx for Amitiza,but my insurance does not want to cover it for me..I was on the Zelnorm for many years which worked SO well for me,but of course it was pulled from the market by FDA. Can anyone give me some guidance in maybe a company program that will help cover the costs or if you have Anthem Rx Part D should I just see if they will allow a formulary exception? Also I need to know if anyone has had good results with this for their constipation problems? In 2015 while pregnant with twins I started having severe pain mid chest right below my bra line. Being a high risk pregnancy I had weekly sonograms and I mentioned the pain to the doctor thinking it was normal due to my rapidly growing abdomen he had the tech take a look. The combination of these creates a very mild narcotic pain killer. prescription ## Hello, I would like to start by stating that this medicine is not manufactured in the United States. From what I was able to understand this medication is manufactured in Mexico by Carnot Laboratories. Reportedly Libertrim Trimebutina comes in two different pill types. One contains the active ingredients trimebutina 100mg and simeticona 37.50 mg while the other contains trimebutina 200mg and simeticona 75mg. This medicine is reported by the manufacturer to be used for treating irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Unfortunately I am not able to decipher a lot of the content on the manufacturer's website as I am not that fluent in spanish. Hopefully the information I have provided is useful. Have a great day.

diclopamine ## I have not seen any information in my research on a substance called Diclopamine and wonder if it may be a misspelling for Dicyclomine or Cyclopamine? Dicyclomine is most commonly known for treating irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) It works by relieving muscle spasms in the G.I. tract by blocking the activity of a certain natural substance in the body. Drug Class: anticholinergics Cyclopamine is a naturally occurring chemical that belongs in the family of steroidal alkaloids. According to NIH.gov, Cyclopamine has both teratogenic and antitumor activities. However, on a cautionary note, it has also been stated that Cyclopamine is a teratogen isolated from the corn lily (Veratrum californicum) that causes fatal birth defects. I hope this info helps!

I have been using Spasmo Proxyvon from two years and now i want leave it but due to it's side effect i am unable to do so. What is the closest equivalent to Trimebutine in the US? I have a close friend that was stabilized and had excellent results with Trimebutine. However he can't find it in Egypt anymore... Can he find an alternative in Egypt or in the states?
