Imipramine Pamoste

I have taken Tofranil PM for over twenty years, with great success. Now that I am retired, I can't afford it and Imipramine Pamote works well, but I can not afford it either. Since it is a generic why is it so high. My insurance will not pay for it either. So
I have been ordering it from Canada. They never give me the same meds, it is always
a different pill (imipramine HCL). I am afraid I am getting depressed again. Where can I get imipramine pamote at a better price? Is there any help for a old person (71) if Medcare and Humana won't cover this?

Hello, Skoshilady! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having.

I didn't find any assistance programs for this medication.

What others have you tried? There are many others available that are much cheaper. Have you discussed your treatment options with your doctor?

I can't find another pill that helps me as much. I tried a large white pill ( can't remember what it was) gave me one panic attach right after the other. Dr. said to
throw it away, that was years and years ago. What meds compare to what I am taking? I take 150 mg a day at bed time. I would love to have some names so I could
take a list to my doctor. We have moved and the Dr. here said to just keep taking the
same thing. She really didn't want to change anything.
