I was on opiates bad got off them for a couple months while in the process of being clean I was in process of getting my back 4 mris to determine why at 22 I have so many pain probs...well the dr said the mris say I hav 4 bulgding disks and an annular tear and minor arhteitis n lower back and shoulder...soo he tried to giv me patches for pain I said im an ex H addict recently so he gave methadone 10s 3 a day and omg ...I think there better thn dope...perk 30s don't rele do anything since methadones built my tolerance up...u can IV thm...if ur getting of opiates last thng u need is methadone...get sumthin with a bunch of fillers...

do you go to that CompDrug place in Columbuis? I'm trying to find a clinic to go to thats close to Springfield, Ohio where I work. I currently live in Dayton and go to Project Cure but they are about to start charging me $212 a week!!! They wont accept any private insurance which I have so I'm trying to figure out what to do.

I would be forever grateful if you have any info that could help I have small children and can't do a methadone clinic I don't take it for addiction I take it for pain.

sorry but that is not true ... I know several people including family members who go see a regular doctor..not a clinic not pain management they go once a month for addiction and get their script they were former H addicts. you have to start somewhere but there are doctors who do, it may be harder now but I have 3 people they are in there late 40s early 50s who are all rescribed methadone from a doctor...no meetings no detox or any type of rehab process just a doctors appointment and a refill.

DO they see a dr anywhere between Dayton and Columbus?!?! My problem is that these clinics either don't accept you because your not on government insurance (medicaid) or they won't accept private insurance like i have. I have to drive an hour one way to work just because i'm having to go to these stupid clinics. I wish I would have gotten on suboxone......

Don't take for addiction take for pain? Sounds like your also taking for addiction considering you are addicted to methadone. Your sucked down that spiraling death hole that I and everyone else talking on here is going down... Cheers and good luck! I'm currently planning on going to a clinic right down the road from me in Mason Ohio to get help..
