HI, Willy!

Yes, Ilvitrim is just an antibiotic, it contains Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim, it's used to treat various types of infections.

It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

If you're taking it and notice hives or severely darkened urine, you should seek medical attention as those may be the signs of a dangerous reaction to this medication.

Learn more Ilvitrim details here.

It's just frequently given to people infected with HIV to try to prevent their acquiring an infection, since having one could be very dangerous to their health.

Is anything else I can help with?
