I have a white oblong pill with I8 on it, can anyone tell me what this is? ## The marking is actually IB and this is NOT a narcotic of any type, it is a discontinued tablet of 200mgs of Ibuprofen, a generic or store brand for over the counter Advil or Motrin. Some common side effects may include: nausea and drowsiness. You can read more about this medication here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## It might also have been an 800 mg tablet of Ibuprofen from Aurobindo (NDC 59651-0362).

What to do after taken alaxan fr. I am a lactating mom. And too late when i found out it's not recommended when breastfeeding. ## My daughter is nursing her babyor breastfeeding her baby she wants to take alaxan tablet,is it recommended for her? ## Alaxan FR contains Ibuprofen, and Paracetamol, the FDA considers them safe to take during breastfeeding, up to the maximum daily dose, but you should take a lower amount, if possible. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation. So, it can be taken, if your doctor approves of you using it. You can learn more here on the Mayo Clinic site. Is there anything else I can help with?

How often should I take the inj's.? ## Hi Sidney, When administering anything in this fashion, I think it's probably wise to consult a doctor first just to make sure you're doing everything properly. However, dosing guidelines for the Tribedoce Dx Inj. Solution suggest that patients apply it via deep intramuscular inj. once every 24 hours for up to 5 days. This dosing information is provided by a pharmaceutical company down in Mexico, where the product appears to originate from. But I'm sure there are plenty of doctors here in the US that would be knowledgable about how to get the most out of it, if that's one of your concerns. Hope this helps! ## Where is Tribedoce DX available? It really helps my Mom with her Arthritis and partial hip replacement. ## I tried taking...

I've been taking Ibuprofen 800 mgs per day for hip and knee pain. However I was recommended Ardosons for same problem and the pain relief is dramatic in just 2 days, taking 1 dose only. My concern is the interaction it may have with the blood pressure medication I am currently taking, Hydrochlorothiazid 25 mg. I know ibuprofen can also raise blood pressure. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? Ardosons is listed as containing the active ingredient Betamethasone, which is a steroid class medication. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, acne, weight gain, nervousness and insomnia. It can also raise blood pressure and heart rate, so it shouldn't be taken, without your physicians approval. Another issue is that it may cause fluid retention, which ...

I want to know because they say not to take ibuprofen with the covid-19 being here in the US. ## No, Ardosons is listed as containing Indomethacin, and Methocarbamol, but the Indomethacin is an NSAID, so it is in the same drug class as the Ibuprofen. Given the lack of information, I'd say its best to be cautious, though there shouldn't be a problem if you don't have the virus. Ardosons typical side effects may include nausea, stomach irriation, increased risk of bleeding, and sedation. Is there anything else I can help with? Remember to stay safe! ## I took one pill of Ardosons and I just read steroids may cause Cushing syndrome. Can I just quit taking it or should I keep taking it with gradual lowering doses?

I chewed ibuprofen and it made my mouth burn and now my stomach isnt feeling very good. Was it bad for me to chew it instead of swallow it? ## Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and these are well known to cause irritation and/or damage to the delicate lining of the mouth, stomach and esophagus. That's why they are distributed as coated tablets and the instructions usually direct you to swallow them whole and not to crush or chew them. So, yes, it was a bad idea. Even with the coating on them, NSAIDs can cause or irritate conditions, such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers and gastritis. Are there any other questions? ## I chew it and i didn't hurt me, is it different for other people or something? my headaches go away faster... ## i can't swallow pills, so, i chewed up a...

I'm looking for liquid gel Ibuprofen 200 mg which is actually made in the USA, not not made outside the country for patients in the USA. ## Most medications are manufactured in foreign countries, now. However, there is nothing to worry about, because it has to meet the same standards as any other medication available for sale in the U.S. Ibuprofen is a NSAID that is most commonly used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. Its typical side effects may include nausea, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. At this time, it is not advisable to take it for coronavirus symptoms, as they are unsure if warnings about it possibly worsening symptoms are accurate, or not. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hey guys. Found this in my house inside a bag of marijuana. Any ideas? It's a round yellow pill (regular/light yellow). It has a capital i on one side and 55 on the other. I can't find anything on any sites. It's not particularly small, about the same size as a round generic ibuprofen. It's not scored; just has the above imprints. Please help. ## It's Seroquel...a pill used to sleep.

Are there any ibuprofen tablets that melt in your mouth? My 14 son still can't swallow pills! ## An option you might consider is Junior Strength Ibuprofen - chewable grape flavor. Basically a Junior Strength is 100 mg, whereas the adult strength is 200 mg. So you would just up the dosage of children's to match what the adult dosage would be in milligrams (basically 2 to 1). Advil - Junior Strength Ibuprofen, 100 mg, Grape Chewable Tablets Good Luck! I have had ulcers (bleeding) but am fine now. Can I take Ibuprofen 600mg? I am concerned that it may cause bleeding again... Also, is ibuprofen 600mg a narcotic? ## No, it is not a narcotic. This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, and, yes, it does increase the risk of bleeding, stomach irritation, and ulceration, or worsening existing ulcers, according to FDA reports. It would be best to check with your doctor to discover what medication is safe for you take. You may need to stick with one that is milder, such as Tylenol/Acetaminophen. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You might have seen this on another post but am asking about Ibuprofen and Tylenol (no other variations) combined. Can Ibuprofen be one of them? ## My ankles and lower part of my calves have a reddish type of rash. My friend said it could be photosensitvity from prescription medicines I am taking. Is this possible? Thank you. ## I'm sorry, I don't know of any comprehensive list of all of them, but there is a basic list provided by the FDA. Roberta, what types of issues do you experience? Turbo, it is possible, but it would be unusual to have it limited to just your calves, and ankles. What medications are you currently taking? Do you have an allergies that you are aware of?
