Verwon Says:

Betacaps contains the steroid Betamethasone, it is used for both its anti-inflammatory properties, to treat conditions such as arthritis and swelling and its immunosuppressant properties to treat conditions such as allergic reactions.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and weight gain.

You can read more here:

How can u feed a load of crap on the net? Betacap tr 40 is propranolol 40mg slow release. It's used for various reason's. Primary action is slowing the sympathetic effects on the heart thereby lowering BP, heart rate and reducing anxiety induced physical effects. IT IS NOT BETAMETHASONE!

I had same problem and taking betacap tr 40 mg for past 3 yrs, the only side effect i had was hair thinning, but this has reduced my HBP & anxiety. Also i would suggest you to go for a walk every day and take more fruits u can see the difference and then reduce your dose after consulting doctor. Most importantly if your are smoker, quit smoking immediately.
