I Hate It

I was put on levothyroxine and i now have heart palpitaions, i cant sleep i sweat alot at night and i am always tired... ,u legs tingle and my fingers.....i have abdomen pain and i urine alot.....I even feel like i have arthritis in my fingers....The new Doctor i am going to now is also hypothyroid and she said she would not prescribe levothyroxine to her dog and she has been takign synthroid for years with no effect....

i take synth. and i had many side effects pain in mucsle,puffy face and legs ankles insomis severe body cant fall asleep always moody and depression did i mention i am gaining weight maybe its the water gain?

Synthroid is just a name brand for Levothyroxine, so they are both the same medication.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, hair loss, mood changes, and weight changes.

How are you both doing, now? How often do your doctors check your TH levels? Are either of you on any other medications?
