I Have Been Prescribed Subutex Bupenorphine For 3 Years Now The Pill Is Not Same It Has Always This Past Pick Up..
UpdatedI have been on suboxin, and subutex for a little over 3 years now... but more subutex... and this past week when I picked up my script... it was NOT the same pill... it is a small white round pill with an arrow on one side, and and 8 on the other side... it is TINY.. like.. the size of a clonodine... I'm wondering HOW these small pills could still be 8MG when they are the size of a 2mg piece? and am I still supposed to take it under my tounge? i dont understand how the 8 MG subutex i have been on for so long are so big that I have to break a half in half and put it under my tounge, and then repeat with the other half? if anyone has any information that can help me... that would really be appricaited, especially how its a sunday, all pharmacies closed early, and im just so confused with how all 8mg can be in this small pill smaller than a 2mg script . I know that in the big pills, there is a bunch of junk, like corn starch & such... and i USED to use these I.V injection... which took me back to doing heroin, but i cleaned myself up, I am now 48 days clean... and just need some information!! this is the first prescription of these small bupenorphine i have had, i was always on the big round ones... or the big oval ones.... any answers will help... thank you all soo much in advance!

I have been on Suboxone for a long time. Due to my insurance they say they will only pay for Subsolv! I'm not feeling good. Sweating at night. I called my insurance company and told them. He/They said they'd pay for the generic subutex which is bupe. What should I do? I just don't want to feel like this. Ughh
Thanks in advance n God Bless!
It's ok it's just a different manufacture. Those peach gigantic pills are no more. And yes under your tongue it goes. You absorb more of the small ones than the larger one, why? The bigger ones are nasty and they tend to make your mouth water to the extent that you swallow more of it than you absorb.
It's awesome. You'll be fine the difference is it has no naloxin. Naloxin is what causes you to go into withdraw if you take other oppoids.
Re: Awakened36 (# 4)
I know this is old, but that is not true. Buprenorphine is what precipitates withdrawals. It has a higher affinity for the opioid receptor so it rips all other opioid off. Naloxone does nothing as it cannot compete with the bupe.
Re: Tgurl (# 2)
They are forcing u on the one with nalexone in it. Buprenorphine made me horribly ill with severe stomach cramps
Re: Awakened36 (# 3)
Not true it's November 2020 and I picked up half my script and they are the orange football shaped ones with a moon on them and they suckkk
