cause of infertility

I am 34 yrs old and I have been trying to conceive for 3 months without success. I noticed that one of my nipples leaks water on stimulation and I don't secret ovulation mucus during ovulation. I also experience scanty periods. Can I use parlodel and ova care as recommended by a pharmacist. ## Hello, Angel! How are you? If you've only been trying for 3 months, that is not a sign of infertility. Infertility means you've been trying for over a year, with no results. Not everyone notices ovulation mucous and clear fluid from the nipple is most often caused by benign breast cysts, the fact that you see it after or during stimulation is also typical of breast cysts, as detailed by the NIH. What do you mean by scanty periods? Do you mean you don't bleed a lot? Not all women do...

Hi. My prolactin is 30.52 ng/ml. As per my laboratory reports, a normal prolactin range is 3.8 ng/ml to 23 ng/ml. My doctor has advised me to take the brotin 2.5 mg tab twice a day. Should I continue? ## My prolactin level is also high and I took cabergoline for eight weeks and felt much better with the medicine. Now that I stopped the medicine, I again feel pain in my breasts and headache. Take the medicines regularly and also go for the test after every two or three months. ## Hi. My prolactin level is 55.33. My doctor advised me to take brotin tablets, which I've been taking for the last 5 days. My periods are usually regular but this time around I missed my last period and it's been 1 week already. Am i pregnant or is this a side effect of the medicine? If i am pregnant, is ...

dostinex

I actually have a RX for this drug....dostinex however I'm afraid it is too expensive and I cannot take the generic one (does not work for me) ## Hello, Ann! How are you? I'm sorry, but at this time it's listed that the brand is not available. The only thing you can get are generics. If they don't work for you, then you should speak to your doctor about prescribing an alternative. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you.....was it available in the past? How much? What are the side affects and did you look everywhere because my local pharmasist cant get it either

Interations of Parlodel with aminoacid

Hello Can I take, (at the same time) Parlodel with Same(adenosyl metheonine)? Thank you ## Hi Marizette, Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Parlodel and S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe). So I can tell you that from what I've seen online, it seems like there shouldn't be any problems using the two together outside of the possibility of their own individual side effects occurring. Were both of these recommended to you by the same doctor?

parlodel

I did a hormone test and the result came out that my prolactin is very high ;47. But my problem is that my breast is not discharging any breast milk. I'm really confused because I don't know if that is really possible and my doc prescribed parlodel for me. Can someone help me here, is this really possible for my prolactin to be that high and still no discharge of breast milk. I need someone to talk to me pleassssss. ## Hello, Angel! How are you? Yes, it can be high, without your producing breast milk. That is just one possible symptom of it. The most common side effects of this medication may include nausea, headaches and vomiting. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks a lot for your advice, I'm very glad I have finally found a forum that cares.

How are you? Are you trying to diagnose and treat yourself, or did your doctor tell you to use these? Your hormones are very delicately balanced, so it's just not a good idea to try to fix things yourself. ## i am 25.. in 2011 doctor prescribed me to take rerestrone for period..i was taking this for period but when i got weight gain and hairs on face and sleeping problem in October 2013 i sto...

SIDE EFFECTS CONTINUE AFTER STOPPING DRUG

I was on carbergoline 0.25 twice weekly for one month and had terrible hot flashes . Now off of it for almost 2 weeks and the flashes continue. any one know why? ## Generally, a month is the length of time it takes for a medication to reach its full efficacy level in the body and, once that happens, it can take several weeks for it to fully process out and for any side effects to completely wear off. Learn more Cabergoline details here. However, you might want to check with your doctor, just to be sure it's a side effect of the medication and not caused by something else. Are there any other questions or comments?

Lesuride : Side effect

Does Lesuride OD increases Prolactin secretion ? ## Does the drug increase Prolactin level in woman ? I am living in Kharagpur ,West Bengal , India. ## The answer to your question is yes, Lesuride OD (Levosulpiride) is noted to increase prolactin plasma levels. There is actually a study that was done to demonstrate this side effect in patients taking Levosulpiride; in which case hyperprolactinemia developed in all patients, but it was normalized within a week, and symptoms for hyperprolactinemia were seen in only a few cases. Did you have any other questions or concerns about this medication? Please post back if you do.

I have been taking it for 11/2 yr am 71, I take it 4 times a week 0.5 and I have a lot of depression. I just hate to think about taking something for this. do you know of something besides cabergoline to take for a tumor on the pituitary gland. ## Have you consulted your doctor? This isn't a listed side effect of the Cabergoline, but there is never any way to know how any medication will affect any certain person that uses it. cycloset

I was on Victoza and was losing weight and my sugar count was way down then started having stomach pain very high and back aches so my dr took me off of it and put me on cycloset..i feel better but im starting to eat like i was and gaining some weight back is this normal..i need to lose wt badly. Ive been on it for one week. thanks ## Cycloset contains the active ingredient Bromocriptine and it has not been shown to cause significant weight gain. How have your blood sugar levels been? This could be just a reaction to their fluctuating from switching medications. If they are higher, because of a rebound effect, while your body gets used to the new medication, then that could be causing more hunger, so you eat more and will gain some weight. However, this should correct itself, as your bo...

Bromocriptine usage and dodage

i was prescribed with Bromocriptine, but i'am confused beacuse i see there are two types: the capsules which are 5mg and the tablets 2.5 mg. my doctor prescribed me to take 1/2 tablet each night, but he means half of the 2.5 mg or the 5 mg one. Iam confused because maybe I think that he menat half of the capsule (5mg) which is the 2.5 tablet. Iam currently taking half of the 2.5 mg, is this right or I should take the 2.5 entirely, which is the half of the 5 mg? HELP PLEASEEE!!!! ## If I were in your shoes, the best thing to do is exactly what you are already doing, taking half of the 2.5 mg tablet; as your doctor prescribed. Better safe to under-dose than overdose. I can understand how it would be confusing and awkward to take half of a tablet. I would get ahold of your doctor to cl...
