My son is using it to shrink his waist I need someone to say that this is wrong ## how do u stop the sever pain of hemroids when nothing works ## Hi I usually don't break out, but recently I have broken out all over my face. A friend told me to try Preperation H ointment.. So I bought it today at Walgreens. Will it be safe to use on my face? ## No, Preparation H should not be used except for in the manner it is intended, which is to treat the pain, and itch associated with hemorrhoids. Its effects are not permanent, so it is not going to help anyone shrink their waste in any significant, and permanent matter, and it does not help treat acne. The regular formulation contains the active ingredient Hydrocortisone, which is a corticosteroid. The FDA lists its typical side effects as pos...

eye drop 5 ml dropping bottle (POLI INDUSTRIA CHIMICA S.p.a) ## This medicine appears to be from Italy. The active ingredients (in italian) are: IDROCORTISONE + NEOMICINA + NAFAZOLINA I dont completely know what those translate to. I think the first two ingredients translate to: - Hydrocortisone - Neomycin Not sure what NAFAZOLINA is. Hydrocortisone is used to treat itching and swelling. Neomycin is an antibiotic. Hope this limited info is helpful! ## I got these drops on a trip to Dominican Republic when I accidently poked my eye with a broken (still jagged) nail. I had tore my cornea and these drops were sent from heaven. I have the ingredients as 100 mL contain: hydrocortisone acetate 1g neomycin sulfate 0.5g naphthylmethyl imidazoline nitrate 0.1g After not being able to open my eye...

I am a 69 year old female looking for a pharmacy in or near Hamburg, NY that carries Greenstone generics and specifically hydrocortisone. My reason for requesting this better generic was that I have recently been diagnosed with Addison's Primary, after suffering and dealing with adverse effects since at least 2005 for two days, then again in 2012 for 9 days until getting what we now know was an incorrect diagnosis of SIADH. I researched the hydrocortisone generic Greenstone was far better to use. I could use some assistance in finding just who carries this brand of generic. Thank you. ## Hello, Diane! How are you? I'm sorry, but unfortunately, there is no listing of what pharmacy carries the product from any given manufacture, because such information is very dynamic, and may ch...

Yes, Hydrocortisone is often prescribed to help shrink hemorrhoids, it is even an ingredient in some suppositories and ointments. However, you should always check with your medical provider regarding the safety of you using it. It may not be safe to use if you have a medical condition, such as high blood pressure. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Can I use canex v clotrimazole 10 mg for treating piles

I take methadone hcl 10 MG tab for Fibromyalgia. I have hydrocortisone Apap 7.5 325MG tab as a backup to help when the pain gets too intense. But I'm out of town and I'm out of methadone. I have hydroco. My question to you is, how many hydroco do I need to take a day to equal to the methadone. I'm take the methadone 4 times a day. ## There is really no way to compare the two and give you an equivalent dosage. It also doesn't contain Hydrocortisone, the narcotic opiate in it is Hydrocodone. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, it may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. How often have you been told to take the Hydrocodone? What are the prescribing instructions?

Having problems after taking for 3 months I need it for Addison Disease and all the symptoms I had before have returned. Now have terrible headaches ,blurred vision, trouble walking and talking. I have complained to Humana Phamacy and was told even though the size is smaller than what I was taking it is still same drug. ## This tablet is manufactured by Core Pharma and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocortisone. Is that the medication you usually take? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, and fluid retention. Are you on any other medications? Have your symptoms ever returned, before?

Will they hurt or harm his ears now that he has been using them.???....and, #2. Will it do his ear infection any good?? TYIA. ## Where can l get them drops for my eyes l went to santo Domingo l got them they work on me. ## Drops that are sterilized for use in the eye can be used in the ear, as well, but you should not use ear drops in the eye, since they are not sterile. Typical side effects may include a feeling of ear fullness, clogging, and drainage. Is there anything else I can help with?

I would like to know what the lP 466 stamped on the pill means?all the pills I have looked up do not have the some stamping on them did I get the wrong pills? It is hydrocortisone/aceta 5-325 an it's a big pill. ## Hello, Rocky! How are you? The markings on prescription pills enable them to be identified, in case of emergency. The markings are logged with the FDA and enable you to identify the active ingredient, the dosage and the manufacturer of the medication. Imagine paramedics being called, because someone has overdosed and is unconscious, there are various pills scattered around them….in order to provide the proper treatment, they need to be able to discover what the person took. They can use various resources to look them up by the markings on them, to discover what the ...

Can my pharmacist substitute hydrocortisone 2.5% cream for Proctosol-HC? Prescription wrote for Proctosol-HC 2.5%, I received hydrocortisone 2.5% cream. ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? Yes, unless your doctor designates on the prescription that you must be given the name brand, the pharmacist actually has to substitute a generic in it's place, if one is available. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this cream as possibly including irritation, redness, burning and itching. Is there anything else I can help with?

can the cream be used to soothe burning sensation in the rectal area... ## Hello, Miz! How are you? It is doubtful, this is an antifungal cream that is typically used to treat yeast infections or ringworm. Do you have piles? They can often cause anal burning, bleeding and pain. If so, then you will most likely need a hydrocortisone cream to help shrink them and alleviate the burning. Its typical side effects, as listed by the U.S. FDA, may possibly include skin redness, irritation and itching. Have you consulted your doctor?

The U.S FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including headache, dizziness, ear irritation and drainage. Have you consulted your doctor?
