Re: Blondie (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

The uo3 are awful. I got them at CVS. I complained but they keep getting them. They do nothing for my pain.

No, I haven't but my last prescription was not from the same pharmaceutical company and the pills have RP on them. I must say that I have had pain that I forgot you can have. The medications have done nothing but make me feel sick. When I get my next prescription I will inquire about the manufacturer. I think they are going to stop supplying the pharmacy with better pain meds and supply weaker brands (my opinion). I have no idea what we're supposed to do, I am 75 and pain wears me out along with other health issues.

I take the U03 pills for chronic pain. It works very well for me. The yellow ones actually made me feel high. I dont take my meds to feel high. I take them to control my pain.

First let me say I have herniated discs protruding into my spinal cord. It is NOT people's imagination the Hydrocodone pills have been altered. The pharmacist gave me the run around.. I was told he needed to call my Dr so maybe later on that day..then he said the fill date is too early..I go every 4 weeks and Never fill early!!!! Then I showed the pharmacist a calendar to show him the fill date ..as IF he can't count (he compounds medications for God sake) then says "oh I guess your right" REALLY??? Then he gives me these horse pills that say Hydrocodone on the label with U03 on it... THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took them as prescribed and they NEVER took even a little bit of my pain away.. my pain level remained at a 7 out of 10 ALL MONTH LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stick to my 30mg M salts. Just 1 per day and a pain pill later. But I like the M salts, they work nicely.

I want to WARN everyone, i was shocked to see the pill change at Meijer myself. This is all about getting a cheaper cost at our expensive. Several years ago i was filling my script at a different pharmacy, they changed there Norco to a white pill, after a few weeks i started getting violently ill. Nausea, vomiting, i would go thru these bouts, i had no idea what was going on...then one day, i got so sick i ended up in the hospital. In there they didn't know what was going on..(of course no one had tested that pill) i get out and for some reason i took my script to another pharm, well, guess what, no more sickness. It was that NORCO!!!! So, here i am reading this, some are saying there getting sick.. If any of us ends up with these kind of symtoms i had years ago, then have someone test your blood for any chemicals related to this newer pill. Then we should go after Meijer for this.

This is a India company making these. There own quality control says there not good! So, i want to warn everyone, now i am stuck with this month script. After what happened to me before, i will be looking for a new pharm. By the way, everyone needs to fight the DEA Gov for violating OUR civil rights. I could give a CRAP about anyone abusing drugs, that doesn't include me, so we need to fight this discrimination against us! GO TO **** DEA!

Re: Cyndi (# 64) Expand Referenced Message

The tablet which says U03 are distributed in the USA by Aurolife, a subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma Limited a generic prescription manufacturer which is headquartered in India. There are also media reports online with concerns about the quality of generic prescriptions manufactured in India.

The following is what their own employees said at Glassdoor.

1) One of their employees said on August 29, 2017: "Products are very cheap. the medication itself doesn't work as well as others."

2) Another of their employees said on March 25, 2016: "Quality assurance is ignored or overuled by production. Extremely high employee turnover. Training is non existent. Deviations on every batch. Extremely high amount of customer complaints. It's a miracle the FDA hasn't shut this company down."

3) A different employee said on April 5, 2015: "under-staffing and employee turnover results in haste and costly repeated mistakes."

4) And yet another employee said in May 7, 2015: "Management overrides critical QA (quality assurance) decisions. I don't know how they pass FDA audits because they even circumvent their own internal procedures."

Complaints by their own employees of deviations on every batch, their products do not work as well as other brands, and quality assurance being ignored by management!

FWIW: Just searched on the internet and saw a comment at Glassdoor by an alleged employee of Aurolife, the company distributing the U03 tablets in the USA (for Aurobindo - a generic pharmaceutical company headquartered in India), and the comment at Glassdoor by one of their employees said:

"Products are very cheap. The medication itself doesn't work as well as others."

Re: Fred (# 82) Expand Referenced Message

The same thing happened to me last night when I went to Meijer to get my usual monthly prescription. Personally, I have bad spinal problems which there is no surgery for so for the past 8 years have been on the yellow colored Norco, then suddenly yesterday Meijer changed my prescription to the white colored u03.

So far it seems like all the u03 does is make me feel sleepy, but does not seem to help the pain levels as much as the yellow colored Norco 10/325s. I can definitely feel a difference between the two different brands (Norco 10/325 versus u03), and it does not feel like the u03s provide as much pain relief at least for me.

Once again, it looks like those of us who live in chronic pain are being penalized because of those within our society that are drug abusers or drug addicts.

(FWIW: Quite a few primary doctors in this area now require drug panels of patients prescribed opioid painkillers to make sure they are taking their prescriptions and not selling their prescription on the streets. As well as to make sure those patients prescribed opioid painkillers are not using fentanyl or any other illegal drugs.)

Re: Granny (# 79) Expand Referenced Message

You can say that again!!! Not only the government is trying to take them away, you go get your meds and you have always look over your shoulder so you dont get robbed and beaten for them. The town I live in this is a daily occurance, it makes me lose all faith in humanity. ??
