Hydrocodone Drug Test Failed For Detection After 4 Days

I took a drug test at my pain management and it came back that I had no hydrocodone in my system and it had only been about 4days since I took it. How is this possible

There is something strange going on. The same thing happened to me on Jan 15, 2013. I was negative for hydrocodone, but I had run out 3 days prior. I thought it might have to do with my ionic footbath cleansing and and other nutritional supplements I take to help reduce further "toxic pain" They told me it was my second "negative" screen, first being last July, right after I'd started a high alkaline water regime wihich really helped me feel better...but I still couldn't get by without my hydro (three ruptured disks, osteoarthritis, CDs, fibromyalgia, bla, bla, bla...). They almost kicked me out! They said I'd have to start coming monthly (had been quarterly for 2years). I decided to slack on the cleansing and video tape myself taking my meds everyday. (I'd never, ever sell them...seen people OD, have kids whose friends have died, I'm NO criminal and frankly I need them too much). I went to my follow up on Feb 14. Took my morning dose and provided my video which the refused to look at. I brought all my supplements to show them. I STILL TESTED NEGATIVE!!!!!! I have bipolar and panic disorder and had a BAD panic attack.....they wouldn't listen, told me to get out, that I'd now have to come every 10 days, but one more negative and I'm out. I went immediately to the hospital down the street...asked for drug test but they didn't do them.??? So I raced to my psychiatrists office where they tested me UNDER OBSERVATION. The test was positive!!!!! They faxed report to pain clinic and I drove the sample back to the clinic myself. They refused it, said they wouldn't even look at it...that I have to take THEIR tests!!!! The recent crack down is creating HELL for all legitimate pain patients ....those of us who need, would never abuse/sell and r taking as prescribed!!!! I'm so furious and want to get to the bottom of this. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD

I am having the same issue! (Neg tests) My RA Dr quit rx and referred me to Pain Mgt clinic. It happened there also and refused further treatment. I told my PsycDr and they referred me Etonian anther PM. This bad testing is affecting not only my mental & physical health but, may affect my insurance claim. Do you by any chance live in Fl.? I think it is a Gov plan to cut out Rx for these drugs and get kickbacks from the Feds for their reduction. Just a theory. But someone is benefitting from this problem and it is NOT the legit patient!
