Hydrocodone Or Not?

Hi,I go to pain management.So does my friend.But,different dr's.We take hydrocodone.I ran out of my hydro's & my friend wants to give me a round,white pill with no imprint on them!He says they r hydrocodone with no additives like acetaminophen or ibprophen in it.Is this the real thing!I don't usely don't take other people's medicine!Thank U!Grammie43

All manufactured prescription medications available in the U.S. are required by law from the FDA to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Thus, if there is no imprint, it is not a legal U.S. prescription medication, although there could be a chance it is a foreign medication of some type.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

I apologize for the lack of a response, earlier, I don't think there is anyone that is on this site 24/7.

I have this condition called Bartolli Sydrome!I think I spelled that right!Anyway,it is where the 4th & 5th lombar is fused to my right hip!I am 57yrs old!I've had it all my life!It is getting worse!I ran out by self medicating myself!Thanks For The ??? question.And,the answer!
