Hydrocodone/apap 7.5-650 With Penicillin Vk 500mg

I went to the dentist, had a quad and lots of fillings. Today she perscribed me hydrocodone/apap 7.5-650 and pencillin vk 500 mg. Can i take them together? I am in alot of pain right now.

However, they are often prescribed together to handle pain and infections, I've taken them together myself for dental issues in the past, though I am glad that part of my life is over now, because I don't miss it. :-)

The Hydrocodone in the Vicodin is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause nausea, dizziness and drowsiness as side effects.

Got a bad toothache Friday nade 1st avail appt for Monday. By Sat I was ready to start yanking out teeth with pliers. Looked for energency dental care...none to be had. Was getting ready to run to emergency room and thought of booze though I'm not a drinker. Figured emerg room would be strict on pain killers so opted for a 5th of rum. It did enable me to get a bit of sleep and make it to early Monday appt. Where they sent me to get a root canal. During root canal dr said I also had some infection. Prescribed Penicillin VK 500mg and Hydrocodone5-325 TB and 4 ibuprofen every 6hrs. 1 hour after taking all that still in bad pain so I popped another Hydrocodone. Still hurting but maybe it is starting to take the edge off...we will see.
