Hydroco Acetaminop 5 500mg Tab Mal

I began taking Hydroco/Acetaminop 5-500 a week ago. I take the pills at night before going to bed. I missed a dose and took it in the morning. Is it okay if I take a pill that same night?

Based on my research, 1 tablet of acetaminophen/hydrocodone 500 mg-5 mg can be taken orally every 6 hours as needed- so you should be safe to take it at night even though you took one in the morning as well.

Yes, you can take one at nite as well. AND, the dosing info for any hydro, but basically goes according to HOW your doc prescribes it, is every 4-6 hours. The main thing with hydrocodone / acetaminophen is the amount of acetaminophen in the drug. Current dosing, even on over the counter states DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN 4,000mgs in a 24 hour period. But, because this is a narcotic, do not take other than how your doc prescribes. If you need more, tell him/her and they will do as needed for you.

PS, forgot to say, they are trying to lower the acetaminophen to no more than 325mgs per pill, no matter what it is combined with. I do believe this will also affect the over the counter plain acetaminophen but I am not sure. It only makes sense that it would change.
