I had Fosinop/HCTZ 10/12.5 and the tablet was sorta yellow and the new one is small round and had an I on one side and the #3 on the other side. IS IT THE SAME MEDICINE ? Thank you ## I cannot find a listing for this, but that is not unusual if it is a new generic on the market. Once a medication is available for generic production, it can be made by many different companies and they all must have different markings. Have you tried double checking with your pharmacy? Fisinopril and Hydrochlorothiazide is commonly used to treat high blood pressure and some cases of chronic heart failure. Common side effects may include: nausea, headache and dizziness. Does anyone else have information on a pill with this imprint?

I would like to know the side effects & what this medication is. ## Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, used to help reduce the amount of water in the body and Lisinopril is used to help lower blood pressure. Combined, they can be pretty effective at helping to lower high blood pressure and reducing associated edema. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. Can I help you with anything else?

I would like to know the ingredients in Triam-HCTZ. ## I need the reaction of each one of these medicine. Triam/HCTZ Zelnorm Hydroco/APAP Estradiol Metformin 500mg Fluoxetine 20mg Pot Chloride 20meq Vytorin Ozaprozin 600mg ## To answer the original question, the combination of active ingredients which you are referring to is Triamterene + Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ), generic for Dyazide. If anybody is able to answer Myrtis' question, please reply. ## Myrtis, if you look at the top of the page, you will see an alphabet list, each on pulls up a list of prescription drugs that start with that letter. Each of those lists is also sorted alphabetically and you can scroll through for the drug you are looking for and access the information monograph from there. Is this for a school assignment?

red capsule it's in a bottle marked for blood pressure is that right ## Sally is my daughter and is taking this for high blood pressure. She is experiencing weight gain, dizziness, headaches, and is very lethargic. ## Those aren't common side effects for these medications, I suggest she speak to her doctor, there are other drugs available that she should be able to use without such nasty effects.

Carr ## this is a water pill i take it along with lisinopril for blood pressure if you take it alone then your pressure must be related to water retention my doctor prescribed it to me along with lisinopril saying this water pill will help with water retention that might be forming around your heart which can also cause a slight elevated blood pressure ## Water can be held in the body in other areas, not just the heart, which can increase your sodium content and result in higher blood press...

I have antiphospolipid syndrome (APS) I was given HCTZ for blood pressure and after two weeks my body went haywire. This resulted in severe respiratory distress, intubated for 3 days had heart attack was kept alive w/ machinery & drugs. Later realized this triggered catastrophic antiphospolipid syndrome. After researching found that this is a known trigger- too late for me. Two years later I still don't have all the feeling back in my legs and have lung and kidney damage. ## To avoid offending the original poster, I have removed the potentially insulting post. People react to drugs in different ways, so it is possible to have such a reaction to a known trigger substance. Side effects also vary from person to person, so just because one person experiences very few from taking thi...

High blood pressure-pill ## is the any type of sulpher in triamtrn/hctz 75/ 50 ....... thanks ## Not as an active ingredient and since it is a substance that many people are allergic to, they have to list that on the ingredients. If you wish to double check, since I do not know what company the medication you have is from, you can ask at the pharmacy were you had it filled.

What are the side effects of Lisinop HCTZ? Do they include chest pains or tightness of chest? ## Here's the monograph page with side effect information: You should speak to your doctor about any type of reaction like this from any medication. There is a chance that it is just your body reacting to the drug and the lowering of your blood pressure, but it is best to get checked out and rule out other more serious problems.

a oval green pill or a white capsule, sometimes with a black stripe around it. I thought it was a water pill because it keeps fluid off me. taken it for years. now the bottle says for blood pressure. what? ## Yes, your med is a diuretic, so a water pill, and they do lower high blood pressure, as they remove the water from the body, they also remove sodium.
