Humira And Side Effects

I have been on Humira for some time now. Lately I have been getting blood blisters' under my skin, just as I was typing I happened to look at my wrists and noticed a blister, I honestly do not know if this means another blister is going to take place. These blood blisters' at present are on my wrist's, there is no itch although I just used my Humira 2 days ago and today I am not feeling at my best so
I'm not sure what is going on. If anyone else has received these blisters' and have perhaps gotten an answer from your Physician or Dermatologist. I hope someone is able to assist me. I am not on any Blood Thinners' such as Cumidine or anything such as this. Thanks so much,

Hello, Rita! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problem you're experiencing.

This medication has been known to cause a lot of dermatologic problems, according to the U.S. FDA, along with the ill feeling, nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, and dehydration.

Have you informed your doctor? You should have them checked out, to be safe.

Hi there: Just went to the Dr last week and apparently according to him there is nothing to worry about. He didn't give me any reason as to why they are fine. I do see my Derm this month or the beginning of next. I will bring it up to her and get
her opinion. Thank you so much for responding. That was my concern b/c Humira has so many issue's that you just never know what is what, it just seems every time you check Humira there is another legal suit. What does a person do?

I'm a 55 yr old male that was diagnosed with Crohn's around age 50. I've been on Humira since Feb 2017. I think and feel that I'm lucky to be 30 or so years late to this party. I also feel that sooooo many others have it worse than I do, and that I shouldn't feel bad. I still think that, however, yesterday I flew off the handle and allowed a fit of rage to get the better of me. Yeah, me, the guy that never gets angry and can roll with the flow of just about anything. So, I yelled at my girlfriend of 12 years for no reason at all. I was so pissed off at nothing that I ignored her and went to bed so I wouldn't cause any more trouble. So this morning I had to do some research to find out if the Humira was behind it all. Of course the Humira page didn't offer anything at all regarding mood swings, nor did the Super Pharmacy that provides my medication, and I'm still waiting to hear from my Gastro Doctor. What I did find was horrifying! I am not an angry person, and found so many others that are not either, but would bust out in the worst ways since using Humira. I had to leave work and go home to apologize to my sweetheart! She does NOT deserve that kind of BS from me, or anyone for that matter. Then I broke into tears apologizing to her because she was so sweet and understanding saying that she knew it wasn't me - had to be the meds. (Am I a lucky guy or what?!?!) I started crying harder when she said that to me, and I was trying to get out that I don't know who that person was last night, but I so wanted to kick his a$$ for speaking to her in that way. Anyway, I guess that this is harder to work with than the 'roids that I was taking earlier. I found myself yelling at the birds in my yard to shut up....and that's when I realized that I / my mind was getting out of control and wanted something to help other than steroids. OK - so this rant has gone on long enough. Bottom line - I too have Humira mood swings and pray for the others to be strong! If not for themselves, then for the ones you love, and love you back.
