How Reliable Are Hair Follicle Tests In Regards To Levels

I had to submit a hair follicle drug test 2 weeks ago for DHS, I just got my daughter back home after 9 months. They knew it would be positive for methamphetamine because I told them it would. I hadn't had any since April 3rd except for a relapse I had where I took it 3 times in a 4 day period. Sept 27th, 29th, and 30th. My test was taken on Oct. 22. My hair was and still is about half inch long. DHS just wanted to make sure I was truthful with them. When I get the results they tell me it's 23,000 pg......they immediately removed my daughter because of the high results. After researching online and speaking with my attorney.....he tells me he has a client who admittedly has methamphetamine 3 times daily, and his results were only 10,000. Why would my test come back like that? Help please. They were gonna leave my daughter with me until they saw those high results. They can't be right.
