How Long Should Veltam Plus Be Taken (Page 2)

I am 68 yrs. Having prostate problem. Started taking Veltam plus tabs for the past month. They have a good effect. How long can I continue? If I continue will there be any trouble. I take Aten 50 also. Pls advise.

I have enlargement of prostrate. and advised to take veltam plus one tab. daily. I am taking other tablets also concerned with heart, such as Imdur 60, metasartan, rozavel 10, ecosprin, flavedon etc. Please advise.

My prostrate size is 51gm. I was taking veltam plus nearly 15 months. I could not get up suddenly from bed or from chair as I was getting giddiness. My weight is reduced and my muscles become weak. I started feeling weakness. For some time I took veltam plus alternative days. Doctor refused to reduce dose and bent upon under operation. Even before taking medicine I had no problem except frequently urination. Once I visited doctor he put on me high dose veltam plus. I changed my doctor to physician who reduced my dosage to plain veltam. My giddiness problem slightly reduced and urination flow slightly reduced. But I am managing but not aware of other side effects. Doctor says no side effects and I don't find any where other effects. If any body has knowledge of other side effects kindly make known to us through this column.

Sir I am aged 68 years. I have prostate problem measuring 5.5×4.1×4.0cm (49.0cc) post void is 69.2cc. PSA level 1.49 mg. I have been advised by urologist to take veltan 0.4mg tablet during night after dinner one tab..I would like to know how long i have to take the drug.
