Veltam Plus contains the active ingredients Tamsulosin and Dutasteride, both of which are used to treat the symptoms of BPH.

And there can be risks associated with the use of any medication, such as organ damage, but what you have to do is weigh your options and decide whether any possible risks outweigh the benefits.

Learn more Dutasteride details here.

Learn more Tamsulosin details here.

As to how long you should take them, that is something you should decide with your doctor. Have you talked to them about it?

I have taken veltam plus for 3 months as per doctors advice as prostrate grown 50gms. I have improvements. Doctor has informed me this medicine will be for life long unless I go for surgery. I have taken veltam plus for one year. I am 64 years old. I have improvements but get giddiness while getting up from bed. Now I take 1 tablet once every two days. Is there any problem if I continue like this? Please tell me if there are any side effects if it is taken for a long period of time. I did not get a reply to my earlier question a year back.
