I am having great results. I have been taking it for three weeks and have lost 12 lbs. I am at full dose 4 pills a day. I have this horrible bitter taste in my mouth like crushed asprin and I have this loud ringing in my ears. I can deal with the ringing ear but, the only way to combat the taste is to constantly chew sugarless gum. Do these symptoms subside?

You didn't specify what medication you're talking about.

A change in taste can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to FDA reports. It can also cause other side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and anorexia.

I've had some medications cause stuff to taste very salty, and it drives me crazy. I really hate, when my food doesn't taste right.

Most side effects go away, after about 4 to 5 weeks, once your body gets used to a steady dosage. If they don't, you should consult your doctor.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

Re: Verwon (# 3)

I had to reduce my dosage to one in the morning and one at night. I have lost 15lbs probably because of the constant bitter taste. However, since reducing my dose, it's gotten much better. My mouth is still dry as hell but, it's nothing I can't deal with. Sugarless gum and dry mouth losengers work.
