How Long Could Dizziness Side Effects Of Augmentin Last?

Our 11 yr old (72 lbs) was prescribed Augmentin for suspected bacterial infection. He developed some of the "rare side effects" which have finally subsided except for the dizziness upon standing/walking. Last dose taken more then 48 hrs ago and still feeling dizzy. Any idea when it will resolve? We and pediatrician are assuming the dizziness is a side effect and not part of the virus/infection.

Side effects to the antibiotic may linger for a week or so, but if the dizziness is severe and making him miserable, please return to the doctor.

Hello. I was issued Augmentin for a sinus infection. Dosage was supposed to be 10 days, I took it for six. I was in a wedding in Las Vegas and felt better, and yes, I wanted to drink alcohol.
I've been off Augmentin for 4 days. Do you think I should restart it? Feeling body aches, still have diarrhea, head ache and sore throat. Wondering if the drinking re-lowered my immunity?
