How Can I Get Subutex Not Suboxone? (Page 2)

I don't know how to go about this as I am shaking and can barely focus, I need help! Please. I fear that my life is going to end from my abuse of opiates. I am currently taking 250 mgs of oxycontin per day. I have a loving fiance and a stepdaughter that I want to be here for. I sit here with cold sweats, and fear going out just because I may make the fearful turn to the meds. Any and all info on how to obtain Subutex would be much appreciated. This wasn't what I wanted my life to be, and I can not let it end this way..Please help me. I am not a religious man but I pray for help as I am at my wits end with this drug.

Actualy, the Naloxone in Suboxone is not even absorbed by your body. It passes right on through. The reason it was put n Suboxone is to deter people from shooting it as the Naloxone would throw them into immediate withdraw. I would just tell the Dr. you cant afford it, and you need a generic. If he wants paid, he'll switch you. If not, get a new r. There are Suboxone clinics as well as G.P.'s that are able to prescribe suboxone or subutex popping up everywhere. Good luck man.

Where is this doc located? I have anxiety and I have been on subtle for 3 years and it kills me to take them, because it makes my anxiety a thousand times worse. Plus it gives me bad bad headaches and makes me sick to my stomach. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I live in ironton Ohio

Hi i was looking for a place to get Subutex in Columbus and found your post. I have been on percocet 30 since i was 15. I am now 22 and i have a good man and a beautiful daughter and these pills are ribbing my life i know i could do so much more with my life i have tried suboxone and it doesn't do nothing but make me feel worse. And people told me it's because i didn't wait long enough do i did and it was the same thing and then i tried Subutex and it helped me so much i was doing it for 2 weeks and didn't touch a30 or think about touching one but then i couldn't find it and my friend was like here you want some of this and i started all over again.. I was wanting to know is the place still open? I don't know how long it's been since you posted. Please help me.

To all those against Subutex, you have obviously never been addicted to anything and have good insurance unlike the rest of us. Probably a spoiled rich kid who says they're an addict for attention. And by the way, in my state, generic Subutex is under 1/2 the price of Suboxone at each and EVERY pharmacy in the state! People without insurance can afford it and its better than killing themselves on heroin or oxy.

My son is a herion addict and I can not get any help without having ins(and truthfully, what addict has ins.) or having a good chunk of cash. Where is Columbus, ohio or Newark, ohio is help available for subutex or suboxone. Thanks

Hello, anyone aware of a doc in Northern IL? I am tired of having to go through addicts and high prices ntm the chance of it faaling thru now and then with getting the subutex..it has been the only thing that's kept me off the needle for 3.5 yrs, and methadone was not a fun ride that's for sure! No insurance and sick and tired of being a slave to these junkies for their meds that they abuse...in dire need, thanks all best of luck

Anybody? Really want some insight if its out there as I get sicker each day and don't want something bad to happen like relapse after being clean as long as I have...I am staying strong but it is hard and I just need the meds, at least enough to where I can taper if at worst

i hav hep c also and was doing suboxone for well over a year. one day i woke up feeling pretty run down, thinking nothing of it, i went to work as usual. when i got there co-workers were telling me that i looked like i was turning yellow. so i looked in the mirror and sure enough, the whites of my eyes, my skin, tongue, everything, was turning a shade of yellow. i immediately went to a dr. and he said that my liver was swollen very badly and appeared to be shutting down and i was backing up with bile. so i realized on my own then, that the only drug i was taking was suboxone. so i immediately quit taking them, went a few days in withdrawl, and then found some subutex which does not contain naloxone. within weeks of switching drugs, my symptoms cleared up and ive now been on subutex for the better part of 3yrs and have not had anymore liver issues. my conclusion is that naloxone is VERY BAD for your liver and i will go sick before taking any form of suboxone, tablets or strips. most drs dislike prescribing subutex because they are afraid that people will abuse it. but they dont see that by being stubborn like that is only hurting their patients worse. if i go to a new doctor i demand subutex, and if they wont give it, i wont pay them. why should i pay them if they are trying to hurt me? you can also get naloxone added to your personal list of allergies by a family dr. then take that list of allergens to your sub dr and then he has no choice in the matter. thats what i have come to find in my life experience... hope this helps you and good luck breaking the cycle!

they say that it isnt absorbed orally..... i beg to differ. some ppl try to let the stuff under their tongues for very long periods of time and after a certain point it does absorb. just not as fast as the bupe. suboxone almost killed me taken orally.... it was shutting down my liver, my liver was inflamed an swollen real bad. not to mention my skin an whites of my eyes were turning yellow. so i switched to subutex, an within weeks my symtoms cleared up and ive been fine since then. so yes it does absorb, just slower than the bupe. and some ppl are allergic to naloxone also, it gives those ppl rashes and headaches etc. and pregnant women should not take suboxone because the naloxone causes severe birth defects, this i have also seen firsthand. some ppl just love to judge addicts and former addicts, and throw in their 2cents without knowing the REAL facts. and most drs are "ALWAYS RIGHT" like u cant tell them anything contrary to what they believe or they dismiss you right away.

ive been on suboxone for about 1 year now. since then ive lost about 30 pounds.I have no appetite,sometimes i go days without eating. i always have nausea and throw up alot,nothing but what i drink and stomache acid.Im always sick and i get bad headaches.I have alot of pain . Ive heard that subutex works better for pain and has less of these side effects. is this true? is it a big deal to switch from one to the other?im not looking to get high. if i was i would just get on methadone.ive also seemed way more depressed lately.could the suboxone be contributing to my depression?i need advice and help now.i cant take this sickness anymore.is switching to subutex possibly going to help with these problems?and will it help any with the pain im in.are drs willing to switch from suboxone to subutex?please help.

Hi there I kno exactly what u r going thru.. I was a heroin addict for six years so wen I decided to get clean I found a psychiatrist that specialized in addiction..he was also licensed to write Rx for subutex and suboxone ; I don't know where u r from but u can easily get a list of doctors in ur area who can help u get subutex..I really hope this helped. I wish u the best of luck getting sober

That is so true Subutex comes in a generic form and isn't crazy expensive, it was a life saver for me and totally worth any money I spent on it...it's a hell of a lot cheaper than trying to feed a heroin or oxy habit

I'm not trying to argue with anyone because I know for a fact many things said are true, but I also know for a fact some are not. Yes, people like subutex because they think they can get higher off them or that they can take other dope on top of it without getting sick. That is totally correct. BUT, subutex, generic or not, is extremely cheaper than suboxone. Whoever says different is either very misinformed or they should share their pharmacy information with the rest of the world so we can all get our scripts filled there also. Also, as anyone who is using it to get high already know, you very much can get high off of regular suboxone just the same as the subutex. You can also crush, snort, and inject suboxone, and no it does not throw you into immediate withdrawals. As with any other program, the suboxone/subutex program will only work for you if you do it right and not worry about getting high from it, but it is also a fact that many people do have adverse reactions to suboxone which is more than likely one of the reasons they made subutex to begin with. Just wanted to clear that up! :)

ron, there is no way u are on 750 mg per day. u would be dead. i go to a methadone clinic and i am very educated about this medicine.

Hello I'm trying to get the best honest all true no bs ansewer from someone I'm 36 and disabled due to my spine and nerves in my hands my left hand stays numb and tingiling feels like its swollen bursting with pain I been on all types of pain meds they finally found 2 that worked roxy 30 mg and 60mg oxy 2 aday now been on them long enough to where they control my life I never leave the house I'm not a pain pilladdict my spine doc said no surgery could hurt me more than help now I'm finding this is not helping my pain no more but they want me on pain meds for good now I'm finding its not helping my pain its like just help me feel normal after 10or more so I heard this subutex works well for withdrawls and kills pain so I want my life back for me mainly my 2 kids and the evil iv turned into a monster I need help is there anyone would no of or have a few to get rid of so I can see if it works before I go to and tell my doc I will pay hopefully someine out here has a heart and don't cost a lot and if they work I can get my life back if I can get a few subutex to buy off anyone that might have some you don't use or want I need to pray they work so my kids don't see me sick no more and I can get out this huge hole I'm in any help I'm also angry in pain and all I did was take what I thought was a miricle in a bottle to worse thing I ever had and I just want my happiness life back I'm loseing everything my kids hate me my old lady can't stand me lord I hope an honest no scams person can help me out thanks I hope {edited for privacy}

I know how you feel. I in my mid 50's and been struggling with drugs all my life. I shot Heroin when I was 15. I was in a band and that came with the territory. The nausea was so bad I couldn't do it anymore. I fully understand how people get addicted because the hour or so between throwing up..It was GREAT. Better than sex. Thank GOD for nausea. Since then I did it all Big Booze problem, then tranquilizers, pain meds. barbituate, speed, coke any and all of it. I'm good now. Not great. But Good. I've been on Suboxone for 4 yeas. I should get off, especially now that I just found out I have Hep C. The Hep C scares me a little. I need to go see a specialist to figure out what's next. I just had a "Catch All" test that which showed some # should be under 0.9. Mine # was 1.0. I don't know where that leave/ I try not to have regrets...but I sure wish I took better care of myself. I abused my body and am lucky to be alive. OH...to go back and do things different. Regret gets me nothing...so its a matter of getting up and keep moving forward. Thanks for your words...I am not alone.I would appreciate a reply.

In Patient is best...if possible. If not; there are meds that help. Google 'Opiate dependency' Don't settle for any Dr. Ask for his methodology. A lot of Dr'd will only give you a couple weeks on Sub's to detox. You need to be honest with yourself. I lied to myself for 30 yrs . I finally got it. Thank God.
