It is not safe to try to snort any medication that hasn't been specially formulated to be used nasally, especially time released formulations.

Tablets contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body. They are normally just expelled as waste. However, if attempt to snort them, you are placing these substances into your body, where they cannot be properly processed out. This creates the very real risk of blockages, which could lead to respiratory arrest, and this is on top of the risk of overdose.

Are there any other questions or comments?

They make 15mg generic ones now. So tell doc you want generic 15s and they should provide better pain relief.

Ok i get 360 15s a month of the generic ones and everyone say they the same as the old formula and that is not true at all. True they are white with no coating. But they are way worse. So they supposed to make some more company's to start making them in September so we see if you can take those. {edited for safety} This the only way to abuse the new Opana Endo 30mg.

Your a damn sick junkie! Your need to step back and look at your life and where it is going to take you if you continue to abuse narcotics. I apologies for the harsh treatment, but you need to wake up and get some help! Good luck to you.. I hope you do quit and get help!

You have no clue what anyone is going thru! So for you to have said something like that I think you are extremely out of pocket! Some people have bad stomached problems from the new pills, and our doctors are so quick to label us drug seekers and just cut us off without any other source of help that we at afraid to talk to them about any issues arising from the new formula. Plugging them works, and without stomached problems. It doesn't matter which end it goes in, it is your script, your ass, don't listen to the last guy. He is a complete ass, so it doesn't matter which end he pops his in. He is full of ::::::!!!

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Thee are lots of drugs that are taken as suppositories because they are basically useless when taken orally, and with a BA of 10% when morphine or any derivative of it is taken orally, a 40mg opana will only truly be 4mg's that actually gets in your system. I don't even know why they make any type of morphine based drugs to be taken orally. Did you know the reason syringes were invented in the first place, was solely to allow people to take morphine effectively? Don't believe me? look it up, it's a fact. It's shocking how most of the people here have no real idea what they're talking about. Why would you give advice on something you obviously know nothing about, much less take a pill you know nothing about. THAT'S crazy. I don't put anything in my body without doing the necessary research to find out all I can about it before taking any. You are probably some religious nut with the way you seem to love judging and putting people down, so you can feel superior. That is what is truly SICK, not the so-called junkies, which technically ANYONE on pain management with any opiates are. Opiates are opiates, whether it's tylenol-3, or heroin. Your brain can't tell the difference. They attach to the same receptors and all cause addiction if taken regularly for more than a couple weeks. Get off your soapbox, and educate yourself about these things before talking down to people you know nothing about.

If moralistic judgement changed behavior, most of our problems would have been solved long ago.
Chronic pain is not a choice. Unless you have been in severe pain for a long period of time you have no idea of the soul crushing effect. Chronic pain patients take opiates to try to have some semblance of a normal life. At best, opiates take the edge off chronic pain. Any feeling of being "high" is a long way off.
Most of us are not "addicts" but are dependent on drugs. An addict is a person who lets his life be dominated by drug seeking. The vast majority of chronic pain patients have their medication well under control and use it to be able to function as normally as possible.
Passing judgement and legislation to prevent us from receiving adequate pain relief is not only misinformed but is sadistic.
You should thank your god that you are free from severe pain because in as little as a few minutes your life can be turned on its head and you will understand the hell that we are forced to deal with on a daily basis. On a good day, the pain is merely intolerable. On a bad day, it sucks the life force out of you.
We need reasonable access to pain medication and resent being treated as criminal suspects or moral degenerates because of a situation out of our control that we deal with responsibly. Most of us would give almost anything to be free from the burden of dealing with pain. We do not need your advice or condemnation.
