How Long Does Temazepam Stay In Your System

My aunt gave me a 15mg temazepam to take while on vacation. Full time college student and a long drive, my sleeping is just not there. Now i am worried because I have drug test schudeled for june 25th. Will it show up?

Temazepam is a Benzodiazepine that is often given to help with severe cases of insomnia.

However, as such, it can be detectable in a standard urine test for as long as 6 weeks, after last dosing. The time frame will vary from person to person, depending on your metabolism, overall health, activity levels and etc.

that is actually not true, temazepam has a really fast half life for a benzo, it us usually OUT OF A PERSONS SYSTEM ENTIRELY withing 24 hours. I think this guy is talking about a standard drug test not hair folicle or something crazy......it is VERY short lived compared to every other benzo out there.

I took 60 mg of tamazepam on a Thursday morning after not sleeping for 3 days because of an obnoxious roommate and tested positive for benzos on a Saturday night. However, I tested clean that following Monday. From my experience if you are not taking benzos on a regular basis (more than 3 days per week) they cycle out of your system fairly quickly, even with different variations of benzos. Now, if you are taking them every single day you should probably have a prescription in which case testing positive for benzos would be exceptable. But every day use can still be eliminated in a matter of a week or several days, if you have any knowledge of getting drugs out of your system I.e. Exercise, water consumption, vitamins, sauna, creatine and exercise supplements, energy drinks etc etc. body fat %, metabolism, activity, and amount and period of time consistently using the all play a significant roll in removing unwanted drugs from your system.

No sorry Meowmix I d k where u got ur info but it doesn't leave ur system in 24hrs even if u never take &just took it once BC I took one 7mg n I did a urine test 5days later & it STILL showed up as Benzos....idk EXACTLY how long it takes but it does take longer than 5days. So be careful if u can't afford to have a dirty test!!!

I took adtivan on a Sunday night and tested negative Wedensday morning. I took 2mgs of it (I don't take it more then if needed, so once or twice a week) and I was negative for it. I'm 5 foot 6" 140 pounds. So I'm a rather small, male who doesn't work out but my job is somewhat labor intensive and I drink tons of coke a cola. It can stay in your system for up to two weeks. But that's if your on it every day for 6 months or so, have a high body fat percentage and don't drink fluids ect. If you do it once and a while and are somewhat skinny, don't even worry about it.

I have a psycho pain mgmt Dr that is trying to be my ob/gyn with meds & tests (not the table kind) also is insisting on being my dr for EVERYTHING! cardiologist, my reg. Family dr. Etc, etc. I have been taking temazepam 15 mgs, 1 at bedtime for while as my family dr ordered. I still don't sleep more than 2 hrs the most at a time. But this i**** pain mgmt says he wants me to stop them & take high cost bulls*** topical rx's that I can't afford cause my insurance doesn't cover them. He even tries to tell me to buy special water that's $65 for a 12 pk of 6oz. bottles among other NUMEROUS vitamins & some other things that are NOT covered by insurance. I'm 44 yrs old. Had 6 major spine & neck surgeries in my life since 2001 & I walk out of there with Rx's that don't help me AT ALL. I do not want to be high, just some relief. My car accident was in 1994. I have only been given 10mgs of methadone & 3 a day of 20mgs of oxycodone. Now I am healing from a brutal hysterectomy & lymph nodes being removed from both sides of my groin. Either way, the hios, lumbar, neck & every joint in my body keeps me from living even a little bit of a so called life from not having enough pain relief. He's a mean hey that yells at me if I say anything or cry or even just ask a question about proving my botched lumbar surgery. He won't hear it. But biker chick's & people that have never had a surgery once, they walk out with 60mg oxycontin! I DO "NOT" WANT those. I just need a little more relief & to sleep so my life can be somewhat normal. Like foodshop, & laundry. I have become a miserable person cause I suffer so bad. N.J. laws is his excuse. But what about the biker girl & other I talk to while waiting forever in his office? The people that tell me what they've had done, & what he prescribes to them. I am treated unfair & at 44 yrs old my life is a constant battle of wishing I'd get in another MVA that would kill me instantly so I won't suffer ever again. I'd never cause it of course & pray that if my wish comes true. Nobody EVER would get hurt or live like I am. What do I do? Permanently disabled since 30 yrs old, & even a spinal cord stimulator implanted causes more pain from it sticking out (protruding) from my upper right buttocks, it's WORTHLESS & now a dead battery anyway. Need it removed. It get bruised & bumped constantly on counter tops & walking to close to the opening of a doorway. ANYONE KNOW A REAL PAIN MGMT DR THAT TAKES MEDICARE? ALSO HAVE MEDICAID. DESERVE & DESPERATE for help in Deptford N.J.

Yes, the Temazepam itself will be out of the urine within 24 hours, However the metabolites can be detected much longer. The half life of Temazepam is on average 10 hours. So depending on the persons metabolism...could be less or more. The metabolites average is about 2 to 3 days for a 30 mg. dose. Below is a URL good little tool I picked up that I will share with you. Uhm, not true at all. Shows up on **standard** UA for at least a week, most of the time 3 weeks. not sure where you got your information but totally bogus!

yes peetest not likely 24 hours but the half life is 10 hours, so it depends on how much and how long someone is using it.

I tested positive for benzo almost a month after taking my last dose. I was shocked myself. I have a high metabolism and was taking restoril for about 6 months. I think it depends on the person. This is the first time for me that a benzo lasted that long. I used to take xanex and it never lasted that long even after long term use. I too was looking for an exact answer on how long it stays in your system cause i had a urine to take as well and like i said i think it depends on the person. I tried to tell my doctor i was not taking it anymore and of course wouldn't take my word for it because the urine screen showed benzo. The truth was that i wasn't taking it anymore but it was still lingering in my system even after 3 weeks taking nothing that whole time. I figure my next test will b fine if i don't take at all till next month lol. Anyway, i know this probably doesn't help i just wanted to tell my side so you can have an idea about how it works. For a sleep aid try temazepam 22.5mg..gets me 5 hrs. For pain try exalgo 12mg. You can get a higher dose but this is a 24hr. release opiate that leaves you very clear headed. Not like oxy or fentanyl. And F*** that Dr. Go see someone else. Why do you think you are stuck with him? He's trying to force drugs on you and that's illegal.

Hey man, lady parent, child or whoever you are, I have been a drug counselor for approximately 18-20 years. Based on my experiences while counseling people for practically any drug addiction including research it appears as though you may have experienced the excitement of Temazepam 15mg on a one time basis therefore you do not have to worry about your your drug test coming up positive unless you administered the drug 2-3 days before the drug test, otherwise one pill you should be okay. It takes about two weeks to clean your system if you take the prescription meds on a regular bases. "NOW GET SOME SLEEP".

I was drugged by a professor using temazepam coupled with Valium and rx Xanax. In two days I reported it and it showed up in my urine. If never even heard of it.

Unfortunately, I live in Glendale, AZ so I recommend a pain doctor. Like you, I spend most of ten years in bed after a MVA. I allowed the doctors to do cortisone injections which resulted in Addison's Disease. I would not have survived if I had not been on an 100mcg Fentanyl patch. It's 50 - 100 times stronger than morphine. It will not make you feel tired, woozy, or anything. A doctor is allowed to preform surgery while wearing a Fentanyl patch. God Bless You. Becky

I'm on probation and they count my pills. She told me there was no need to count temazepam as it wasn't a narcotic. I normally take them as directed but being so nervous everytime I see her, I took more than usual. My urine was sent to a lab routine. Will they show up?

My heart breaks as I read your post. I had been injured at work . If I had been in an auto accident, I would have been given all the proper test ,and due to the nature of my injury , I had no idea what exactly happened. I was not able to remember what happened for 8 month's , this caused futher damage as well as be put through physical therapy that was wrong for my injury.
I have severe pain and I have not had one pain-free day since the day of that accident. You can't look at me and tell it. I'll never be guilty of judging anyone again by whether or not they looked like they needed that parking space, which I don't have the sticker however rightfully I could. It makes me sick to read what you wrote, it makes me feel broken hearted to read that you don't want to live because you hurt so bad . I'm a person who has faith and I believe strongly in prayer, I don't know what your beliefs are, however I am going to be praying for you. I'm going to pray first, Jesus helps you and put you where you need to be to get the help that you need. I'm also going to pray for a miracle. God works in many ways. And I'm going to pray that you get relief and can enjoy your life. And I guess the answer to your question is go South , Florida , they wouldn't mind you enough to kill a horse . And this is not what I'm wishing for you but they don't mind prescribing that is for sure, they don't mind over-prescribing . But I understand that when you are in pain like you're speaking of medication is meant for that pain and IT addresses the pain not the high that people who abuse medication or getting. No one is able to judge you and no one would want to be in your shoes with that pain . It's easy for people to say, what they know nothing of . Best wishes for you. molly

After reading your story I am apauked and so sorry u have to deal with that.im 36 and been on many different meds n now I take perc 10s 4 times a day 25mcg fentynol patches (every 48 not 72 hrs) Valium baclofen a anti inflamitory n hormone from my hystoectomy.mostly pain meds n been on this regimen for about 3 yrs.id like it to help more but it's the most releif yet after many trial and errors with meds and drs.im in MI so unfortunately I can't reccomend a dr but maybe look for 1 who is a pain management rehabilitative care and pain phycologist. You will be more prone to a more compassionate Dr who understands your pains. Gets you to a more tolerable level. And helps u wk around high cost treatment and drugs.my Dr not only manages pain with meds but tries other methods like adjustments or what he calls the spine med table it's a 18 wk process that has worked miricles.he will adjust meds and not exceed the CD limits.feel free to look up the CD regulations in your area or TT your oharmasist and ask if what you take is the max in your area.im at the max.my break through meds were cut in half as soon as the law changed but everyone who was over the limit got cut.i sure hope there's a Dr that specializes in all of he above in your area.and if your Dr claims to he would be more compassionate and tt you.i wish you the best.

Temazepam will show up if you are taking some other Benzo's- I have not taken a Restoril/ Temazepam in 3 yrs but I take Valium/ Diazepam on a daily basis.
My pain management Dr will no longer treat me with narcotic/ opioids since I take Diazepam for Anxiety/depression/fast heart rate. AND Belsomra for insomnia & can not fall asleep with CPAP. I did try... Stayed up for 48 hours straight and ended up with an anxiety induced asthma attack used my Xopenex inhaler which I haven't used in 5 yrs. Instead of my heart rate of 118 on Diazepam it was 135. Thought I was going to have a heart attack. The inhaler helped a bit took a chewable 81mg aspirin with it just in case.
People stay away from Ambien.... I took it for a long time no problems. Then I started sleepwalking. Very dangerous drug!!
