How Long Does Oxycodone Stay In Your Urine (Page 2)

I took about 40 mgs of Oxycodone between Saturday and Sunday. Will I test clean for my drug test on Thursday evening?

Yes you should be fine....Drink extra water up til the test....Drink a redbull the morning of the test....The niacin helps reduce the drugs in the urine for some reason

Same advice I gave Billy....Drink extra water during the days b4 you test....Drink a redbull an hour or so b4 you take the test,the niacin helps for some reason....Its normally 3-5 days for oxy, but everyone I know passes in under 3 days....I actually pass after only 2 days so your body type,metabolism,fluid intake,etc always plays a factor too....Peace

I took 5 30mg oxycodeone tablets, and have a test in 13.5 days...I tihnk I should be ok...butr of coarse and worried about it...Any opinions?

Yeah Curious,you should be more than clean so dont worry about it....Normally takes between 2-5 days depending on your metabolism,how much water you drink,etc....Ive taken oxys b4 and passed after 36 hours,but I have a fast metabolism....Youll be fine

Hey Shelly....If you take oxys all of the time,I would stop takin em at least 4-5 days if you wanna be extra safe....Give it 3 days if youre tryin to cut it close....You probably get withdrawals when youre not takin them I imagine,thats why I said maybe stop after 3 days,so you hopefully wont be sick but for 3 days instead of 5....Drink extra water if you choose the 3 day route....Myself,I would do 4-5 days to be extra safe....What is DSS???Dept Of Social Services-dealing with your kids or is it something else???Good luck

any advice for my situation urine test in two weeks and been taking 20mg oxycontin from 1-3 a day,im also preseribed 2mg zanax which I know isnt a problem but if show narcotics there goes my zanax,,,anyone HELP!!!!

SLS--I would give yourself 4-5 days to be on the safe side....I usually tell people 3 days,but when using opiates on a regular basis its better to be extra cautious....Its good that your zanax are prescribed because it can take up to 3 weeks to get benzos outta your system....Good luck,hope this helps

thank yor your advice, so just to be safe, it woud be better to just one week ahead...also noticed that my 2mg four times daily has had little or no effect recently, Could that be because of the oxycontin interfering with the xanax?

thanks for your advice. New question for you. Im taking 2mg xanax 4 times daily along with the 20 mg oxy and the past two refills I noticed the xanax doesn't effect me like it always did. Is it becasue of the oxy, i mean ive been taking xanax for years and never had this happen

The oxy usually makes the zanax work even stronger so thats kinda strange.You could be building up a tolerence for the zanax cause youve been taking them for awhile....The body contains opiate recepters that the oxy binds to,but the zanax works in a different way and doesnt bind to the same recepters as opiates....Opiates seem to leave the body rather quickly where as zanax normally stay in the system a lil longer....Probably have to get your script quantity moved up higher or a stronger mg such as a zanax bar.....and yeah stopping oxys a week before and youll be fine

Oh I didnt realize you had been doin the oxys for that long....Thought youve been on zannys for awhile and the oxys just a short time or a few here and there....If withdrawals are a problem,quit 3 days b4 you test instead of a week....Some people can take certain otc drugs or scripts like clonidine,etc to keep some withdrawal symptoms at bay....If its just a 5 panel test you could take a real low dose(30mg)of methadone....Some test dont screen for methadone because its a 100% synthetic drug whereas oxys are semi-synthetic.....Its a s***ty thing deciding on whether you can handle withdrawals vs cuttin it close on takin ur meds hoping youll time it just rite....Is there anyway you can sneek some clean piss into the bathroom or do they perform observed ua,s on you???

My husband got hurt and was prescribed vicoprofen, I am prescribed oxycodone for my back, he accidentally took about 3 of mine before he realized they were mine and that he still had the same amount in his bottle, lol. Needless to say, that was on a Sunday around noon, he has a drug test tomorrow afternoon, will they be out of his system?

I guess that means hes takin test on Wednesday....It depends on what test hes takin....If they are testing for opiates( which is on a 5 panel test) he would pass....If hes takin a more thorough test ( such as the kind that detects each opiate individually) he might be pushin it a little close ( time wise) ....The detection cutoff for opiates is 2000 nanograms per ml....The cutoff level for oxy is usually 300 ng per ml....So therefore if they test him for oxycodone,he needs to be below 300 ng/ml in order to pass....So even if someone has oxy in their urine they cant fail you unless that drug is above that ng/ml amount....It normally takes between 2-4 days for oxy to leave the body....It depends on things like your metabolism,eating fatty foods,fluid intake,etc.....Tell your hubby to drink some extra water,take some multivitamins(so the urine has some color to it cause extra water might make the urine too clear looking,and tell him to drink a redbull an hour or two b4 he pisses in the cup ( the niacin in redbull helps to either mask the drug partially or makes the urine more acidic so the drug is less detectable.....I think he should be ok so dont stress too much....Ive actually passed tests b4 for oxy after only 29 hours but Ive got a really high metabolism and other tricks I employ to pass my drug screens....Hope this helps,good luck
