I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

Sooo, I'm prescribed oxycodone 10/325 ...my refill apointment was almost a week late this month..so on the not so bad days I was just using tylenol for arthritis...I keep this bottle at work...on Friday I downed 4 of them...and took a few home w/ me which I took about 2am sat morning...Saturday at work I went to take a few more when my boss stopped me to say he's been stashing his hydros in that bottle...soooo yeah I have a 10panel drug test Monday afternoon...I'm gonna come up dirty I just know it...how can I clense...I have a horrible metabalism..HELP!!!

My friend who us a nurse told me that even tho they only last so long as a pain killer it can last 3-5days in ur urine...everything you read here is true from the half lifes to metabolism...good luck..I was lucjy and had a snow storm w/ good reason to reschedule...also, w/ all the flu sickness thus year you can get around it...

Okay I took my last hydrocodone 10/325 on Wednesday evening I had two that day and I am having a drug test on Friday morning I take this medication everyday. I don't have any for tonight (Thursday) due to giving my wife two when she fell I need this to come up in my drug screen will the hydro show up after 48 hours?

To "Nurse Knows" and "Know the Facts," You two evidently do not know what you are talking about. Percocet, vicodin and Lortabs(any form of hydrocodone) are all opioids. What does this mean? Unless blood is drawn or the urine is sent to a lab (not just tested in the office or where ever, then poured out when the strips turn out negative) to get the chemical breakdown of the drug, the tests do NOT discriminatively distinguish between the two different drugs. Hydrocodone and Oxycodone on a urine drug screen show up as an OPIATE/OPIOID! My reference is rxlist.com. This site gives the chemical make up of every drug imaginable. I took a 10mg vicodin today and i need to know from someone who is 100% sure how long it will take to get out of your system i think i'm going to have to take a drug test monday or tuesday and i CANNOT afford to fail it....please help asap! thanks sooo much :)

Thank you for saying what I have for years, I am so sick of the people that abuse the right to have pain management so that people that are actually in pain (and take it exactly as prescribed, and do not sell it), have to feel like an addict because of the hoops we go through every single month! It is about time that the people who abide by the system stand up and tell the people that ruin it for us....

Actually, oxycodone (percocet) and hydrocodone (lortab, vicodin, norco) are separate tests on a drug screen! I know this as a matter of fact since I take a random 11 panel screen once a week! Oxycodone is one panel and opiate is another. They will know the difference between percs (oxys) vs. other opiates, I promise you. They cannot tell what opiate it is initially (ie; vicodin vs. heroin), but they will send it to the lab to determine what type of opiate it is. :)

I go to pain management for chronic back/neck pain. I am a 65 yr. old female & need my Hydrocodone. Today is Thursday & I have an appt. with my PM Dr. tomorrow (Friday) I have 2 Vicodin 7.5 325 tabs left & I need them to be in my system tomorrow for the urine test. When should I take them, one today & one tomorrow morning, or both today for them to show in my urine? I take them sporadically because of hangover effect they give me. But I do need them in my urine tomorrow.. Please answer as soon as possible. Thank you.

I took a bottle of liquid hydro 7.5 over two days the last time last night. I haven't took anything today it wasn't my script but do deal with chronic pain. I have to report to probation tomorrow at 11 am and will probaly be drug tested. Is it possible for me to pass a drug test tomorrow?

You people saying that one drug will pass for another on a drug screen have no idea what your talking about! Each drug shows up differently due to their make up! Loratab and percocet will not show up the same and same goes for Vicodin. The drug test can and will show each drug you have taken!

My boyfriend took one hydrocodone two days before he left for marine boot camp. He was in extreme pain and thats all he could find to help. He took it on a Saturday night at about 9:30, and his drug test was probably that coming Monday during the day sometime. He extremely active, and always drinks lots of water and works out every single day. We're freaking out because he could get sent home if it shows up on the drug test. Will it show up???
