I have been on this for one week, 25mg X twice a day. A few minutes after taking it last night, I started with uncomfortable heart burn. As of almost 11am today, the heartburn is not any better.

Anyone have a similar experience?

Also, the sensation in my mouth (almost mint like) is really hard on me. Do these come coated or anything?

While I have never been able to figure out why, Spironolactone contains mint, which according to NIH studies is very well known to cause heartburn. I've experienced the same issue myself, when I take it. I even spoke to my cardiologist about it, but there is nothing that can be done.

Nick, since that is a supplement, it is hard to say what might be causing it. Are you on any other medications?
