Other countries just do not regulate their drugs and require as much information to be available to the consumer as the U.S. FDA does. I've been taking it once a day since nov. 12th. My legs hurt as a side effect. I am a 46 year old male. ## I have been on spironolact for 6 months and my legs and hip ache and are weaker, I am going to talk to my doctor about this. My legs hurt and hip as well.
