Has Anyone Seen A Price Jump In Losartan 50, 90 Day Supply

Has anyone seen a price jump in Losartan 50, 90 day supply? In December I paid $14 and change, last week I paid $48 and change. The only change I made to my insurance was going to a higher deducible. However, this did not effect the December or April purchases as in both cases the insurance company paid zero.

Based on my research, Losartan does have some pretty big price gaps, depending on where your getting it filled at. I used a pharmacy price checker (like GoodRx) in my zip code to determine how much it would cost for a 180 tabs of Losartan (50mg) and the price ranges anywhere from $12 to $135...

Did you get your script filled at the same place you usually do?

Yes, same pharmacy - Walgreens. When I called the pharmist on it he tried to tell me they did not have an increase and I could not have gotten it for the lower price in December. I had both receipts on my desk. I think I am more angry that they are trying to claim that the they did not change their price than the additional money it cost me as next time I will be shopping around and they are unlikely to get my business. From now on I am going to shop every refill rather than going to the same pharmacy out of habit.
