Dilaudid, which contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, can be detected in a standard urine test for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing.

Learn more Dilaudid details here.

Are there any other questions?

I took an 5 mg Dilaudid and I have been called in for a random urine screen at my methadone clinic. I am freaking. I took it on Tuesday evening, and I have to go to my clinic on Thursday by 11 am......I know that the standard is 4-5 days, but I know in the past I have passed many other screenings just by overloading myself with water..........and taking vitamins so that my pee does not come up too clear. Can someone give me any feedback on this issue.

I am the same person who questioned about 5 mg Dilaudid being in my system and having to go for a random drug screen at my clinic. I took a 5mg. Dilaudid on Tuesday evening , maybe at around 8pm....I am rewriting this , as I made a mistake in my first post, and I won't have to go to my clinic until FRIDAY at 11 a.m. PHEW!! I know the standard is 4-5 days to leave your system for urine screens, but I also found information that it can be out of your urine in three days. I only took one pill. I hate to admit this, and I am a 6 carry patient on methadone (meaning I have done quite well, and this was one minor mess up) but I did snort the Dilaudid as the person who gave it to me said it will affect the bioavailability of the pill. I was hoping this would also mean it would be OUT of my system faster. So Tuesday evening, one 5 mg, Dilaudid up the nose (I know disgusting, didn't catch any buzz and will not do that again!) and have to sample for Friday by 11 am (and you can be sure it will be 11 am no earlier, lol!) I will be drinking a TON of water and taking vitamins so that my pee is not too clear (this somehow works with my clinic).. Feedback is requested.

I snorted a small line of hydromorphen on Thursday around 5pm and I need to go and get tested today on Saturday at 8pm. Will I test positive for a urine test. The dose was a 25mg but it was a small line from that so a 1/4 of 25mg.
