I have Trigeminal Neuralgia, and I was given this medicine for Pain. What is it?

Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone (500 mg - 5 mg).

Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain.

I HAVE TN AND WAS RECENTLY GIVEN HYDROCODONE/ACETA. CAN YOU TELL ME IF IT WAS SUCCESFUL IN DULLING THE PAIN. NOTHING ELSE SEEMS TO WORK. WENT INTO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND THEY GAVE ME DILADID (SP) WHICH WORKED FINE, BUT I CAN'T KEEP TAKING THAT
