How Long Does Methadone Stay In Your System? (Page 14)

Is Methadone completely out of your system in 72 hours, or does it take longer? Since Methadone seems to last longer that 4 - 6 hours, I was just wondering?

please how long will it take for liquid methadone to get out of my system?? last time I had some was on last wed. I was sneaking it from someone else-ive never been subscribed it-was taking it on and off over 2 and a half years but was taken less-maybe once a week for a while-I feel fone-no real withdrawls and hope not to have any-will I?? think it could be out by now?

Back about 1983 I got busted I was on 85 MG's for a few years the jail detoxed me in 5 days. I was up 19 days straight I was hallucinating and I couldn't judge doorways I would walk into the walls. Thank god it was a 30 day sentence I did 24 days. When I got out I went to a MD and he gave me darvocet,purple coffins (barbiturate) & 10 MG's of Valium I slept for 2 days straight. Darvocet is chemically related to related to methadone so it would take the "sick" away aiso for dope. I swore I would never get on it again. Well never arrived I got back on it again but it was for my peripheral neuropathy I will die with method in me.

I have been on methadone for 10yrs.......... Can someone please tell me how long it takes for it to get out of your system? & how long does the with drawls last?? I have chronic back pain & other pain issues & also was just took off of it @ the Pain Clinic i was going to? & So went back to my family Dr......& he said he didn't understand why they done me like that? So he wrote them to me!!! Now he is retired & don't know what to do???? Please help!!!!! I am scared & don't know what to do? I checked out some Methadone Clinics out & can't afford it. They will not take my insurance & I am on 1mg..........Xanax's & they say that I would have to stop taking my xanax's. I suffer from real bad anxiety attacks!!!! Some of these Dr's want to treat me as a drug addict, I am not that!!! Just seeking help & sum info.....Please help. Thanks

I want to know how long it will take me to feel right once I stop methadone? I started a year ago. Went from 100mg in a 24 hour period, to 60, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, and 2.5, now none. Its been 7 days and I still feel like crap. No sleep

Hi there,
That's the only good news I have read so far.
I'm on 15mg and stopped taking it, it's been 58 hours since I last had it. I am fed up with taking it and was wondering if I would be able to ride it out.. How much MG or ML were you on to feel better after only 3 days?

I have been on methadone liquid 90mg over a year every day. I was going to clinic to get it because of opiate addictions. I have been off methadone for three full days now, I'm waiting to get on suboxen on Monday. But I have been taking some hydro ten mgs to help with methadone withdrawals. .why can't I feel the hydros after being off the methadone three full days? When will they help? ?,ty Kris plz answer asap if anyone knows? ??

Been on for 10 years just coming off never again I am done with it. Worse thing ever. It works well for pain but with these pain doc's screwing me over time and time again I decided to just be done and fine some other way to deal with my pain.

what's the difference in suboxone and subotex and will both make you sick if you have any opiates in your system? if so how long should you wait with methadone its been four days and I'm taken hydros daily just took some for the withdrawal of methadone. ..ty

I have been told that a urine drug test will not detect methadone unless they are specifically testing for it. I have just finished a year of methadone treatment. Started at 20 MG went to 5mg a day over a period of time then stabilized and then weaned off at 2mg each week. Almost 3 days out and so far only sweats. I've been told I could still have withdrawals. I hope not.

I took liquid methadone on Saturday morning, one dosage only, it is tuesday now and i have to screen at 2 30. I will let u know if i pass or fail by then. I excercise and drink plenty of water anyways so maybe this is different from you but we will see soon enough. Cross your fingers.

I realize that i responded to a post from a while ago now lol but i did pass, i flushed with water all day and things were fine. So for anyone in the future it does work i guess. Good luck.

My doctor out me on morphine to get me off of methidone.it's been 3 days .when will I fell better.how long does it take for withidraws an to get out of my body .I have had spells all day.

Ok this is all lies. I drop alot. If u take the pill and you drink plenty of water as well you will pee it out depending on ur kidney functions and metabolism. I dropped 3 days after my last dose and nothing in my system. They only way it stays in ur body that long is if ur on it for awhile. True story

I'm trying to find that question out as well, I more am interested in how long it will take to stop feeling so s***ty, after being on it almost 4 years or more. and I mean 112 years old with the flu after walking uphill for like 6 weeks, NOT GOOD. I WOULD wish this on my worst enemy, it's the most terrible thing iv ever experienced and if I wanted some to hurt blah blah blah. I shot about 80 mgs a day and drank my dose of 81mgs a day for about 2 years straight, just drank my dose 2 years. Like 40 something days ago I got off, tapered off probably faster than should have but got on sub. I'm on 12mg. The damn point I'm getting at is I still wake up and am so depressed, I still ache all the time my stomach hurts anxiety that shuts me down some days, it's a lot in my head too I supposed but I know how my body feels too. I work, I work out so I'm moving around, I eat pra not the best but I take care of myself, vitamins and stuff. I know it takes time but, ive literally felt this stuff come out of me. Ive luckily never really delt with acne. My whole back and chest and face have broke out so bad.... after the first week my teeth and gums hurt, I could like feel it coming out of me... the s***s f****ed up, sry to say that but it is. So I believe 46 days later, still depressed, body still hurts, anxiety suuuper bad. Still broke out on my back and chest real bad... ive been an opiate addict for 9 years so I get my body and mind are all fd. I don't even know to be sometimes, who to be. To be honest IF I ever went back I'd just do dope, it's a s***ty thing to say but I could kick that soccer ball every other couple months. I'm so done with the drugs I feel but its like it follows me everywhere.

How are you feeling? I was on methadone 4 years, shot it half the time. I'm an addict obviously, didn't use it for pain but to get off dope. like you I'm done wit it. Been off 40 some days and am still it all sort off pain withdrawl bs. Anxiety the list goes on. Just interested in how your doing

Methodone dr only five days and I want off. The worst ever. Can't breath at all. Chest pain headache. Vomiting. Just wanted this for my surgical pay and chronic pain as opposed to oxycodone. At dr now giving this crap from hell back

Been on methadone 120 mg a day for 3 yes. Took nothing else. Been off methadone 4 most. I honest to God have taken none, my urine yesterday came up positive for methadone. How long will it stay in my urine. I've heard can be 6 most cause it gets in your bones etc. Can anyone tell me if they have had same problem, and what to do?

IT 30 days ago. Was in so much pain the day I took a quarter today.
