I found this pill oval one side is p 525 n other side is plain is it hydro or wat ## @Tuty, Based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is an oval "white" pill marked with P 525, manufactured by Athlon Pharma. This particular pill reportedly contains 525mgs of guaifenesin + 50mg of pseudoephedrine, and is marketed under the trade name "Entex PSE". As far as applications go, pseudoephedrine is a decongestant and guaifenesin is an expectorant. I realize that the color of your pill is notably different, however this is the only search result I've seen that closely resembles it. Hope this helps! Does anyone else here recognize the pill as being something different? ## I found two blue oval pills in my generic tylenol bottle: \ with p525 and they are guaf...

I found a pill in my sisters room that has PH 041 on it I have looked it up & cannot find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. ## Hi Rj, Is there any chance that the pill says PH 043 as opposed to PH 041? An oblong white pill marked with PH 043 (and scored down the center) reportedly contains 400mgs of Mucaphed guaifenesin + 10mgs of phenylephrine HCL. This medication is used for treating sinus / nasal congestion as well as coughs. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Edwards Pharmaceuticals. I hope this helps! ## No worries. It is a generic brand (Leader) 325 mg Aspirin (NSAID). ## So a round white pill with 041 on one side only is aspirin? ## The ("Leader" brand) Aspirin I have is white, round, blank on one side, and the other side has "PH" a...

This tablet is manufactured by Time Cap Laboratories and they list it as containing 400mgs of Guaifenesin, which is an expectorant most commonly used to treat cold symptoms. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have A 272 rather than TLC that you've mentioned. Do you know what that is?

I want to know if the combination of acebrophylline and guaifenesin have a synergistic effect in the treatment of a productive cough? ## It is possible, and you should take them if a medical provider has instructed you to do so. But overall, it really depends on what is causing the cough. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth. Have they helped you, at all? What is causing your cough?

Found a long white pill with upside down V with small p in center followed by 152 and blank on back ## Hello, Although I haven't found an exact match to your pill, I did come across info on the manufacturer. It looks like your pill is made by Advanced Pharmaceuticals, based on your the description of the upside down "V" with a smaller "p" underneath. Images of this logo can be searched for on Google under: "advanced pharmaceuticals logo" Perhaps you could contact them directly for more specific details on that pill: advancedpharma.net/Contact.aspx I hope this helps! ## This "p enclosed by an upside down V with 152" on the other side of an oblong white pill is Guaifenesin, a common over the counter expectorant purchased most likely at the local Dollar ...

Oblong white pill. Side 'A' is split down the middle. On the right side of the split there is a triangle with no bottom that has a capital 'P' inside the triangle. On the left side of the pill there is the number 152. Side 'B' of the pill is plain. I was thinking it might be a generic version of a mucus relief medication, but I wanted to make sure. ## That is the Advanced Pharma logo that's used on their over the counter items, but I can't find any listing that confirms what this tablet contains. The main problem with identifying over the counter products is that they aren't required to log the imprints with the FDA, like prescriptions drugs. Learn more OTC drug details here. If a prescription expired can you still take them ## I'm not not an MD so I cannot say whether or not it is still safe to consume an expired pill, but my opinion is that you should take caution as to how long it has been expired for. I personally wouldn't take it if it is more than a week expired, because not only would the ingredients degrade over time and not be as effective, but perhaps in some medications the chemical makeup may be altered over the years and there's always a greater risk of unwanted side effects that are associated with that. My advice is to play it safe and just let it go. ## Can I take guaifenesin if it expired Oct 2015. Would it help me out with the mucous
