I was unable to retrieve a significant amount of information regarding Godex, due to it's production being outside of the US.

Godex is a mixture of PMC (diphenyl-dimethyl-dicarboxylate) and Hepadif. Each of these ingredients have been used for managing chronic liver disease in Korea and other countries.

Based on clinical trials I have researched, it is suggested that 6 capsules of Godex per day (PMC 150 mg + Hepadif 900 mg/per day) is the optimal dose for Korean patients with chronic liver disease who show elevated serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) level.

If you have any more questions or concerns, please post and I will be happy to assist you.

i am a concerned grandmother who knows virtually nothing about godex. my grandson has been recently diagnosed with hep b and is a carrier but not highly infectious,thus he is banned from finishing his nursing studies. he has been prescribed to take two tab three times a day for a month. what is the likelihood of his liver changes ? especially prognosis of hep b? could it change its status or if anything stop it from infecting other people in contact? thanks kindly for any help of info you can share.

Test shows that my sgpt is higher (95) and my doctor advice me to take Godex 1 capsule per day for 30 days. After 5 days i was tested & indicated that my sgpt rises from 95 to 103. I am not comportable with the result so i went to other clinic for an ultra sound. The ultra sound shows that everything is normal except that i have fatty liver disease.
Despite of the result in ultra sound my physician insist that i will continue taking godex. do you think it is correct?

Satya Prakash,

There are many natural alternatives for B.P (Blood Pressure) control that in my opinion can replace any medication.

I personally had high blood pressure, but was able to control it by controlling my eating habits and exercising. My advice is to look into natural ways such as: Low sodium foods to help reduce inflammation; supplementation of garlic, fish oils, as well as calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

In conjunction I know many people who have benefited from incorporating these alternatives into their everyday lives and don't need to take drugs to control it.

Please post back if you have any other questions or concerns...

a little help here, you can also try CAM (complimentary alternative medicine) on top of godex. I may suggest c24/7 naturaceuticals. Its literature says its good for liver disease. You can visit or search for it.

first and foremost Godex is not an antiviral drug. Meaning it will not cure your hepa b or hepa c. Perhaps if you are not chronic, your body might develop resistance to the virus that eventually will clear the virus from your system. However if it did not develop resistance, you are most likely to be a chronic carrier. You can take this medicine as a treatment for your hepatitis b or c or combination. BUT I strongly suggest that you see a liver specialist before taking this drug. Your system might not react on the medication as expected. This drug can help us protect our liver and added supplement like vitamins. We should not always rely on the treatment alone. We should observe proper diet, exercise and complete rest. Avoid alcohol and cigarette as it will weaken our immune system. Just em ail me flagcarrier a+ rocket m ail dot com (that is one word only - they don't allow posting here) God bless us always!

Godex is primarily indicated for fatty liver, chronic hepatitis, liver intoxication by drug or substance. study shows that it helps lower sgpt levels back to normal. It is widely available in the philippines. This drug also has a double strength capsule called Godex DS.

greetings! my name is francis, now i have eveitis, i'm taking steroids and also drops (chloramphenicol dexamethasone) actually, this is my second time to have eveitis, three months ago, i had it and my opthalmologist, gave me DEXACHLOR and Steroids for two weeks, it disappeared, but after a month it came back so now, the doctor gave me , i think stonger eye drop plus steroids, i'm supposed to go back to the doctor for follow up cuz i'm sure he will give me another medicine and eye drops,

but now, i have a new problem, i had an x-ray, 2 weeks ago, and Tuberculosis was found, actually, last year i had an X-ray and the findings was APICO PLEURAL thickening, i didn't know what it meant at that time, so i ignored it, but now, the xray results shows i have tuberculosis, in 2002 i had TB but i took medicine for six months and i was cleared, but i think my kidneys were damaged,

in 2006, i got sick, i was in a hospital for a month, i had amoebuc liver abcess so i took strong medicine for that, and in an MRI scan, they saw some kind of tumor in my kidneys, but i ignored that..

now, i have another problem, my blood pressure is high, everyday, when i check it it's 157/110, i saw in the internet that steroids could also be the culprit.

i had my blood chemistry and everything was high

URIC ACID = 435.4
Cholesterol - 5.57
Triglycerides = 3.12
VLDL = 1.42
SGPT = 227.52

all of the results was way high, so i feel depressed...

i want to start taking my medications for Tuberculosis but i know those medicines are really high, so i'm worried about my liver and kidneys,
and aside from that, my uveitis is still here, what should i do?i feel scared and confused not to mentioned worried about the medical expenses...
now i am taking GODEX to lower my SGPT byt i can feel my liver is complaining, it's painful.

plz give me an advice

I believe that Godex cannot stand alone in fighting Hep B, however, with antibacterial drugs plus Godex DS, im sure that there would be a significant improvement in combatting that disease.
