What is this small light purple used for? Scored on one side ## Hi Caren, Based on the description provided, I located 3 different pills that are round, light purplish-pink in color, and have a score line on one side. They are posted below as follows: 1. Vitamin B-12 1,000 mcg tablet 2. Oral Glucose 4g tablet 3. Diazepam 10mg (made by Investigación Farmacéutica, in Mexico) Since it may be difficult to narrow the results down to one pill, I'd probably recommend sending it off to a lab for a content analysis. I hope this helps!

In the meantime, remove all sugars, carbs from your diet. You must change from acidic to alkaline. Cancer must have glucose to survive. No breads, pasta, sugars, period! Research all alkaline foods. No sodas, sugary drinks. Read your labels. Take charge of your health and start with your diet. fresh food, no processed foods.

Small peach/pink round pill with no marking scored on one side? ## Hi Denise, There's actually three different pills I found that fit this same description. The first is a 4gram oral raspberry chewable glucose tablet. The second is a 1000mcg Vitamin B12 tablet. And the third is a 10mg Diazepam tablet, made by "Investigación Farmacéutica" in Mexico. Since there doesn't appear to be a way to differentiate between these three options, I think your best bet would probably be to have the pill analyzed by a lab. This type of service can be a little costly, but I think the assurance of knowing what you have may be worth it, especially if you have kids/teens/pets around. I hope this helps!

According to the America Diabetes Association, there is an explicit correlation between the effects of mental stress on blood glucose levels in those with type 2 diabetes. However, physical stress, illness or trauma has also been shown to raise glucose levels in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. You can find out how much various stressors affect your blood glucose levels by simply jotting down how stressed you are on a scale of 1-10 and writing your glucose level next to it; then do the same thing when you are in a relaxed state (maybe repeat after a week or longer to investigate possible patterns). Doing this exercise could help you become more aware of how certain emotions, coping styles, and your problem-solving attitude impact various aspects of your health. Perhaps finding better ways

my mother is diabetes n she gets constipation can she take LACTITOL MONOHYDRATE that is torbulk.she doesnt want to take it as it is sweet does it lead to diabetes. ## Hi gels, From what I've researched, Lactitol can be used to treat chronic constipation. And further digging led me to details implying that Lactitol may actually be beneficial for people with diabetes, since it carries a low glycemic index and hasn't been reported to affect blood glucose/insulin levels. The only contraindication I found is for those patients who are hypersensitive to Lactitol or any of the inactive ingredients that might be added to it. I hope this helps!

would like to suggest a glucose pen such like the epi pen for my brother with type 1 diabetes. ## And Epi pen, is Ephiphrine, used to treat allergies and would not do anything for diabetes. You are able to buy both tablets that dissolve in the mouth, as well as liquid drops at virtually any drugstore, that work fast to relieve a low sugar attack. Orange Juice, or any liquid with a regular sugar content will help to bring him out of it, just follow it with something like yogurt or a sandwich that contains long sugar molecules to maintain the sugar balance at a higher level. ## Glucagon is an injectable treatment for low blood sugar, primarily for those with type 1 diabetes or who have frequent low blood sugars that require help to treat. It works much like an Epipen and comes in a kit. I...
