I would like to know what the potential side effects are of consuming Glimaday 2mg twice a day? ## Glimaday contains the active ingredients Glimepiride and Metformin, which are oral antidiabetic medications used to help lower and control blood sugar. I was prescribed JANUMET XR 1000/50 MG 2 TABLETS in the morning before breakfast and 2mg GLIMEPIRIDE after breakfast. I was suggested bya doctor to take GLYCOMET GP1 twice daily instead of JANUMET XR. should I continue to take GLIMEPIRIDE because i read that GP1 contains 1 mg of GLIMEPIRIDE ## Hello Rao! Hello, This is Sekhar. My wife has type – 2 diabetes.And it is in control for the last 6 months. Now, she is pregnant(6 weeks).She is taking GLYCOMET 500mg PILLS after taking breakfast and GLIMEPIRIDE & METFORMIN combination 500mg before taking dinner in the night.
