Yes, that does match the description of an 8mg Buprenorphine, sublingual tablet, the generic for Subutex. They describe the logo as being a dart.

This is an opiate narcotic that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction and it may cause side effects, that can include: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache.

What do u mean u went into withdrawals the 3rd day? U absolutely sure no other medications u were taking? I would say I don't believe u but I just got switched to these for pain management from an insanely high amount of oxy and since these don't have the naloxone I wasn't worried about having to wait the 24 hours and risk being sent into precipitated withdrawals like what happened to me in past with suboxone I thought that was hell never in my life have I called 911, not when I overdosed not when I cut my finger off but a couple days ago after taking 3 of these I got sent into indescribable withdrawals my heart stopped on way to hospital in back of ambulance. I had taken my opiates that morning and took the subutex these little ones with arrow hi-tech a few hours later after appointment early afternoon. And it was by far more pain and terror then any man should have to go thru I have bn addicted to opiates for 9 years and had thought I knew the hell of being sick. But anyway for the life of me nobody not even the doctor that saved my life in the ER can figure out how I got sent into not just precipitated withdrawals but to the point were it was so bad they were shocked at how bad I was the doctor was sure I was mistaken and thought I had taken suboxone but I know my s*** and even showed him bottle is there something fishy with this particular pharmaceutical brand? Wtf the crazy thing is I took these exact same subutex in passed within hours of taking opiates and never had a problem? wtf?

Yeah you went into precipitated withdrawal no doubt. The bupe is what causes this, not the naloxone. So many are misinformed about this. Suboxone and Subutex both equally cause p.ws.

To michael, jonj and buck - these suboxone with the arrow and an 8 on them are only for getting off suboxone strips, they will not work at all if you do not let your self go at least 36 to 48 hours without a sub. also if you were using for 9 years thats not good. you need to immediately get off. obviously easier then said but you will eventually die my friend especially if your over the age of 28. i took one of these a half the day after a suboxone sublingual film and it didnt do anything but i learned its just another bs way of tapering they dont suck, there actually amazing but everyone's brain chemistry is different. so try going 36 hours and then taking them; like actually starting to feel sick and try them. ive felt a mild euphoria for 12 hours now and there suppose to last 48 hours until the sickness kicks in again. but what alot of ppl dont know is that the bioavailability of pills is different then the strips. you should try to keep the saliva and the sub build up in your mouth for at least 20 minutes for 4mg. i do 30 minutes and if its too much i swallow the rest. but to control it, also no smoking anything or drinking anything acidic, juice coffee, or even eating anything acidic 10 minutes before and after your done dissovling. wait at least 5 to 10 minutes before smoking anything or drinking anything but water bc there is still a trace element of the suboxone left in nerves of your mouth and i just take lil sips of water to get it all flushed out and back to normal. i hope this helps. not alot of ppl know about bioavailabilty. ppl use to call me weird but i get 99.9% of the substances narcotic out of everything i use whereas ppl tend to waste it. a friend of mine use to take 12 mg i got him doing this and he only need 2mg now. obviously he tapered 2mg everyday and he says he feels just as euphoric as when he took 12mg bc he would let it dissovle and it only takes 3 to 5 minutes and he would swallow. thats a complete waste of money and its not neccessary at all. also a dry but not to dry mouth works the best. i like to do the dry mouth and it works alot better. I hope this was informative. good lucks gents!

I am 44 yrs. old and got hooked on opiates in 1999. I have overdosed and flat-lined uncountable times and spent days in blackouts. In my first attempt to kick the habit i tried the Orange stop sign shaped methadone which to me was more addictive than all pills I've taken combined, times 2. My second attempt in 2013, I was put on the subutex 5411 pills. They worked great but having an addict mentality I over took them and most times came up short before my next prescription was due. I eventually couldn't afford the Dr. visit and went back even deeper in my addiction. About four months ago I found an affordable dr. that prescribed me the 5411 and have done well. It boils down to how sick of being sick you are and merely surviving in a life where you see others living a content life while it quickly passes you by; despite the dosage, ingredients or different types of suboxone/subutex. They will only work as well as the effort you put into your commitment to your sobriety. If you had your pill of choice as big as a house it still involves constant work on self and awareness. And no excuses can justify relapse. I have lost two children to death. One, a 16 yr. old that shot himself after taking a cocktail of pain and nerve pills. I have had one aunt and two uncles die from opiate overdoses and I still abused pills. That my friend is insanity. But, for what it's worth, you have to care. That's what has helped me along with medication is that I care for life and the ones that live in it.

I am glad you're OK. I recently got the new ones that are the now preferred brand. It's from sun pharmaceuticals and they literally burned and shocked my mouth so bad that I couldn't stand it. I don't think anything has worked as well as the 54 411 ones. Idk they want to change it, probably bc everyone wants those kind. Idk what to do I've called every pharmacy with 40 miles from me and nobody has them except the ones with the arrows. Now, seeing so many posts online saying they suck I'm not sure what to do. This sucks.

I get the small round subutex with an arrow on one side and 8 on the other. Can anyone please tell me how I can get switched back to the big ones? Smaller ones don't work as good unfortunately. What should I tell the pharmacy cause they say they only have those? I just don't know what to do... Thanks!

Re: Gigi (# 17) Expand Referenced Message

I've been in the Hi-Tech subutex (small white pills with arrow) since February, never had any different brand until I got sun pharma brand 2 days ago at CVS and I would do anything to hop in a time machine and stop myself from getting my my rx filled at CVS instead of Rite-Aid which is where I normally go but didn't because of location convenience at the time. These have me throwing up sick everyday since I got them! The small ones are amazing in comparison because they don't have all these useless fillers that are reacting badly with me and everyone else who reviewed in the internet. I never had the pleasure of trying the 54 411's that everyone is missing but I do know that the Hi-Tech brand is the next best thing. Idk what to do. Cvs didn't give a s*** and said you will have to get another prescription from your doctor but insurance won't cover them again this month. That was so sorry of them! I'm pregnant and as scared as I am already having to take this medication, I'm really worried about why this different brand is making me so sick. Does anyone know what I can do? I can't survive another month of this cheap India-manufactured crap on top of the sickness I feel from being pregnant too. I'm lost and depressed and scared.

Arrow brand does not seem like it works well at all... the 54 411 worked so much better for my pain, which has been so much worse since switching. It's incredibly frustrating. I don't know why... it doesn't. They're both 8mg, but the difference to me is obvious, it seems like they're not even half as effective. I'm extremely disappointed.

Re: jon j (# 8) Expand Referenced Message

Buprenorphine causes precipitated withdrawal...I don't understand the misconception there... it's the same medication as Suboxone. You will only receive the Naloxone if you're administering the Suboxone intravenously. You went into withdrawal because you took opiates then the Buprenorphine ripped it off the receptor in your brain, which is it's job.
