Just wondered if anyone else has gotten a prescription filled with a round peach pill imprint U 31 on one side, and quarter score on the other

Generic medications by law are allowed to contain a 20% variation of the amount of the active ingredients in the medication. That's in both directions, which means that it's possible that you would get 20% more, it's possible you would get 20% less. You might get the right amount, but you might not. Then, you must take into account the fillers. Each company may be using different fillers, some of those fillers block the action of the medication because they don't allow it to dump at the right time. This may not affect every single person. But it's asinine to suggest that all of these patients are angry because they're not getting high. Most people were well aware they had add or ADHD once the symptoms were described, and that's why they got the medication. Therefore if the medication does not work, the individual will know. I can tell you that I was under the impression that my ADHD medication was no longer working. I've heard this happens with many medications for many people, and now I doubt that that's the case for so many. Why? Because the pill that I thought was not working properly or had stopped working on me was a generic that was a different brand. What happened as a result was I continually misplaced my keys, I couldn't remember what I was doing, I had panic attacks. But the main thing was that I kept forgetting where my keys were which is something that I had a symptom of when I was not on the medication. This was also exacerbated. When I switched to a different generic, I was a lot better. In other words, it helped my ADHD. I have not lost my keys since I've been on the right medication. Additionally, to all of you people who believe you cannot get your prescription back and refill it at another Pharmacy that's incorrect. You open up your medication and see that it's a bunch of generics that you know will disagree with you or will not work in your particular case, you tell the pharmacist immediately. They will possibly argue with you and tell you generics are exactly the same. They have to say that. Some of them really believe it. But that's not your problem unless you allow them to make it so. Find out your generic that works for you and go to different pharmacies. You may not be able to force your usual pharmacy to get the proper ones for you alone. I've been told that at various pharmacies so I go to another one. I suggest you all do the same. I suggest you tell them why you are doing this. I also suggest that we all contact the proper authorities such as the FDA the DEA, or all patient hotlines to lodge our statements and complaints. I've got more bad news for you, which is that these things are not being monitored the way you seem to believe they are, based on some of these comments in this thread and elsewhere. They need to get complaints first. I'm sure they might be going in and checking something every now and again, but most of what they're checking is for cleanliness and every once in awhile to make sure it's within that 20%. You can go to 2 different pharmacies and you can tell them why to avoid doctor shopping accusations, which are already outrageous.

Thank you for the response I appreciate that. I'm in my 50's and was diagnosed and prescribed this kind of medication for the first time less than a year ago. I was initially given the brand at the pharmacy, it worked and my problems at work diminished the first day. Had I initially been given this current prescription I would have thought this med wasn't right for me. I can see this happening to others. Or people losing their jobs when this happens. I was already hanging by a thread at work when diagnosed.

Not only does it not work I feel worse mentally, increased fogginess and down, worse than if I hadn't taken it, and after it wears off I get a sense of mental relief if that makes sense. Fortunately with my insurance the brand is only $60 so I will stick with that going forward but I need to find a way to get through the next 20 days.

I have expierienced the exact same from the off brand its due to the cheaper production of the med i always request barr/teva because it does not give me those side effects you have to find the brand that works for you AND STICK WITH IT the pharmacies will tell you they are all the same but they simply are showing their ignorance because a simply try test gives you the truth for you dont let them make u believe you HAVE to get those kind go to another pharmacy.

What brand is that? I take 10 mg 2x day brand is Aurobindo IR. They are causing rapid heartbeat, high anxiety, moodiness and headache and no therapeutic effect at all.

I have never had any of these problems before and I'm new to stimulant medications. I was prescribed Adderall brand XR 10 mg the first 6 months and they worked great for attention and focus and no side effects. Was switched to IR in April to try and it worked great. The next month I filled my last script of XR and went back to the IR this month and started having the negative effects the first day. This continued every day until I stopped taking a few days ago so I know the problems were caused by this medication.

I won't finish what's left and I will get the brand going forward. No doubt there is something very wrong with this medication. The physical effects were scary for me for someone else they may cause serious problems.

I’m used to taking 15 xr once a day. They keep me going through the work day without issues. Recently switched to these u31. Took half.... 3 hours later.... barely anything. Took the other half so now was at 30 and they it finally started to kick it. From 9am that I took the first, 12pm took the other half and the 30mg lasted till about 4:30-5pm. Not a fan.

So I got prescribed u29, same aurolife but 15mg. I by no means have any tolerance to Adderall. I RARELY ever take it. I had Teva before this and wud cut them to 5mg and wud REALLY feel and notice a difference, like there was no question. I have not taken any Adderall in over a month, got these u29, cut it in half and took the 7.5mg. I immediately noticed the flavor difference which is probably not a big deal but also how it almost melts in my mouth which I found weird. Anyway I took it and felt absolutely nothing, no focus, nothing. I was hungry and had no issue napping 3 hours later. I was just as tired as I usually am. So I took a full one next day, once again nothing at all, figured maybe its cuz I ate too much. Next day on an empty stomach took another, once again nothing, at this point I'm confused. So just yesterday I decided to take the full and the half I had left over, essentially 22.5ng, which is the highest dosage of Adderall I ever came close to. Once again nothing, napped on the train to work, the usual, a few hours in noticed I kept clenching my jaw and couldn't really stop? Also felt nausia. Basically I was experiencing side effects without any actual positive effects. So I'm at this point where I got 26 left and not touching them cuz they are trash. I just don't see any reason that a 22.5mg pill of this has absolutely nothing to it whilee 5mg of another brand works without a question.

Finally a person with a brain that doesn't have much clogging the logic portion...I took two u31's at 5:00 pm, it's now 9 pm and I'm still going strong. People need to recognize that it's all in their head...I'm typing at 80 wpm and my heart rate is awesome....love these AUROBINDO 30s.

You have the right to your truth, others have the right to their truth. Please don't disregard what someone's truth is, for you are not experiencing it. While I don't wish you any harm, I do kind of hope you eventually notice that each batch is different, month to month, pill to pill, and you'll come back and apologize for throwing everyone into one group. I had the Mylan's last month and they were great. I had them this month and they were horrid. That's what happens when the pills are made in India and we're blindly supposed to believe they are all being monitored.

I hate to say it, and I hope I'm wrong, but you yourself may see the inconsistencies soon enough. Please don't tell other people that they are wrong. You are not in their shoes. It's unfair and it's cruel.

You people are all amphetamine addicts and are proclaiming yourselves as "ADHD patients." I'm guessing every person on here went into the doctor after trying an adderall from a friend and making a decision all on your own to fake it to a doctor that you have ADHD. I just filled my Rx and actually have ADHD and I got the U31 pills. Ummm. They work great and I not having any of the side effects you people are b****ing about. Addiction and people who suffer from addiction also tend to be people who are stuck in their ways (prefer the first drug they remember getting them really high). Do you all not understand that the FDA regulates everything with world class scrutiny. Its entertaining to read that some of you addicts have been calling the U31 pills fake! Haha. Could you all be anymore stereotypical of the paranoid-methamphetamine heads we all watched in breaking bad. You all wonder why you have such a hard time getting your scripts and why you feel mistreated, well it's because you are taking a 30mg adderall and b****ing that it is fake. The mind is way stronger than any of you can grasp and if you are a reading this then chances are you are so beyond offended at this point that you are merely waiting for the chance to write and prove to yourself you are not an addict. Well I'm sorry to break the news but if you are on here complaining about the U31 imprinted 30mg adderall script you just picked up then you are paranoid and overthinking something that has you believing nonsense. U31 is legit and works. If you fall asleep on adderall its because you have simply exhausted your adrenal and dopamine receptors to the point of them not wanting to work so that your body can get what it really needs (REST!!). Change your lifestyle and stop taking amphetamines to live a life you think is propelling you with some advantage. I dont want to get political but case and point is Donald Trump. That man never takes meds and is old school hardcore type A. Not drug-induced type A. Marinate on what that difference is and stop blaming pharmaceutical companies and additionally stop making paranoid claims that there is fake adderall being given to people and in the form of 30mg U31 adderall tabs made by aurolife llc.

You clearly have no history of drug abuse. Just because you cannot tell the difference doesn’t mean it’s the same for someone else. I always can tell the difference and I’m not just talking about this medication. Suboxone tabs and film have a big difference, so you just need to keep your opinion to yourself, but you know what they say about opinions, that they are like an a**hole, everyone has one.

I live in New Orleans and there seems to be certain generics that float around here... Orange circles, pink circles, and orange oval egg-shaped. The best generic that I've come across always seem to be oval shaped. The strongest and obviously my preference is an orange oval egg-shaped Adderall with the imprint B 974 and 3|0 on the flip side.

The U31s are just plain horrible. I usually try to get the oval footballs at my local pharmacy but I was in a pinch and in a different city visiting family. God I swear I will never settle for CVS again. I find it hard to believe that the U31s can actually make me sleepy and put me to sleep. I feel as if I took a melatonin. Anyone who reads these post just be aware that the U31s are a waste. I understand that everyone reacts differently to these medications but this generic form of adderall is not worth it.

You couldn't be more wrong, every person reacts differently to different meds, but some meds affect the entire population differently. Case in point, no one in the industry wants to say it but here it is, the powers that be want to eliminate any type of pleasurable feeling from all medication. You know that is true and you know it is happening. If you "dumb" down the most abusable meds you reduce addiction. But it wont ever work, the companies that make the right meds will become much richer and for what its worth, buried deep within the psyche of a person with ADD is the burning desire to be motivated. It doesn't come natural to us. Despite whatever dumb bulls*** you have been taught to believe, we live it every day thus we know what relieves those deep feelings of hopelessness and which meds are dumbed down. I wish the FDA could make the distinction between ppl who suffer daily and those who merely wish to stay up to study for an exam.
