Generic Adderall Experts Please Help - Side Effects, Options

Hi, thank you for reading. I am planning on talking to my doctor, but I don't see him for a few weeks. In the mean time i'm hoping to get experienced input from you guys.

I am prescribed generic Adderall 20mgs (up to 4 times daily). Generic brand Teva. (Recently switched from Auro brand 30mgs 2X daily)

I have been experiencing some negative side effects at times: exhaustion, anxiety, cold hands, and sorry to get too specific or graphic, but I have been getting a buildup of semen and when I urinate it comes out.

These negative effects happen mostly when I take my 40mgs before noon. Some common denominators of these terrible side effects have been: I was unable to go to the gym, I took the pills within 2 hours of each other, lack of food at times.

I have a few questions:

1. Would things get better with name Brand Adderall?
2. What are usual other options if Adderall is becoming ineffective for me? (I used to be on 120mgs daily, I stopped (bad idea for a lot of reasons!) and now I guess the laws are different.

Sorry to hear about your symptoms. Waiting a few weeks to see a doctor can often feel like an eternity when one is in dire need.

[1] - Have you taken any other manufacturer's brand or generic versions of Adderall in the past with success? Usually, in order to find what works, it involves working closely with your doctor along with some degree of trial & error. Without knowing how your body will respond a certain brand/generic in comparison to someone else's review/experience, this is probably your best bet in my humble opinion.

[2] - Other amphetamine-like medications or stimulants do exist, however, if you're looking outside the realm of prescription drugs, I'm a big advocate for herbal options and dietary supplements. Kratom (depending on the strain and quality), ginseng, eleuthero root, schisandra berry & ashwaghanda root are some things that might be worth researching further.

Yes, in the past I believe it was pink 30mg from Corepharma that worked well for me. I will talk with my doctor about getting Brand Adderall next time. My insurance already said they wouldn't cover it without my doctor saying it was necessary. I am also curious to see about other prescribed meds may work, especially if my current the side effects don't go away.

Thank you as well for the herbal recommendations. I just recently discovered and really like Schizandra Berry.
