I took Kapidex for 40 days. I stopped 5 days ago and now my insides are on fire and I have diarrhea. How long do the withdrawl effects last? ## Kapidex contains the active ingredient Dexslansoprazole, it is a Proton Pump Inhibitor used to treat conditions such as heartburn and GERD. That said, 40 days is not too long of a time to be on this, though some of what you are experiencing is probably a rebound effect from stopping it abruptly. The worst of the withdrawal effects should start to taper off after a week to 10 days, though some may still linger for a little while afterwards. Have you spoken to your doctor about this?

garlic is used use to being able to get across the counter as a liquid, a couple of drops in baby's milk, whould cause baby to burp and pass gas5 ## I am sorry, I am not sure was Asphista is, as I can't find it listed anywhere. Garlic, however, is available as an over the counter supplement. However, the use of it safely in infants is unproven! Supplements of any type can be just as dangerous as medications. There are medications available for infants to help with gaseous conditions and I recommend sticking with them for safety. Mylicon is a very popular one that can be purchased in most stores.

Has anyone with Reactive Arthritis taken Kapidex? I really bad reflux with largxspasms and the Md placed me on this med. today. I have read that someone with Reactive Arthritis can have Steven Johnson syndrome with meds and I have had this also in the past and one of the severe side effects to this med is SJS? ## Kapidex contains the active ingredient Dexslansoprazole. This is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat Acid Reflux, heartburn and similar conditions. I don't see anything in the warnings regarding Reactive Arthritis and Steven Johnson syndrome, though. Have you tried talking to your doctor about your concerns?

a big round white tablet with the number 44 on top and 532 written on the bottom. ## Sorry, I cannot find any information for this specific pill. I can, however, tell you that it is an over the counter product. Pills with an imprint starting with the number 44 are manufactured by LNK International, they only produce over the counter products. These are then sold by various stores as generics or store brands of OTC drugs such as Imodium or Tylenol. ## Verwon: How do you decode pill imprints to learn that 44 means LNK International? Is there a list of imprints somewhere? ## It is Guifenesin, over the counter expectorant sold as Mucinex

The pill is really small, white, round and on one side says P on the top part and 771 on the bottom part. ## Yes, it says P on top and 771 on the bottom. The back is bare and says nothing.
